Is there any age that you should stop playing runescape? like really aha, i see alot of people argue about it online and ingame but what are your thoughts?

When you stop enjoying it. As you get older you're less likely to play though as you tend to have more responsibilties.

That was my opinion on the subject too, but just wondering what most peoples age is if they play runescape honestly.

The whole "You're too old for x" sentiment is generally pretty immature.

This. Its either used by peole who feel insecure, or by trolls.

First high level i met when i joined Runescape was a lady who was in her late 40's early 50's. She helped me a lot when I started playing as did her more "mature" friends. All sorts of age groups play mmorpgs.

I've met a few older mothers playing runescape obviously not [bleep] before anyone cracks a joke about it aha but yeah she was telling me how she helps her son out sometimes playing runescape which is something i thought was pree' damn cool but obviously not everyone talks to there parents about runescape at the dinner table. I can't even talk to them using voice only my hands.. - wonder if anyone will pick up what that means? :P

I know of people from a great number of age brackets, 30's, 40's. 50's heck even 70's who play RS or other MMORPG's.

 

I don't think it's the physical age as much as the mental age. I don't care if you still wear diapers, but I tend to find a few people who should still be in diapers.

Ahaaa, i have a feeling when i grow up i'll be on the computer playing games alot while my wife/fiance/girlfriend whatever it is would be doing the other stuff until im asked to do something ahaha. ;)

I don't believe in any kind of age "restriction" on video games, MMORPG's or otherwise. If you enjoy games, then play them. Personally I'm 28 and still play games. Hell, my mother played RS for a few years and got on the first page of the Mining high scores for a while. Usually any person who's saying that games are for kids are generally kids themselves.

Yes and no. Runescape is a game that is extremely time intensive. At some point, you get to an age where you literally don't have much time for anything. You are kind of forced into being too old for it...

Well first off, I dislike the fact that their is "ageism" for video games. In my opinion you are never too old to play any video games, yet alone Runescape.

 

If you're an adult, and by adult I mean you have your life tigether, etc. then personally that would be the perfect time to kick back and play Runescape.

 

If you're a kid, you have a lot of spare time and that's also a great opportunity to play Runescape.

 

tl;dr It doesn't matter what age you are as long as everyone can coexist and realize that they'll grow up one day and perhaps still be playing Runescape at an older age.

Guys i hope none of you think that im actually against this subject ahaa! I love runescape man, just putting it out there. :3
