I dont know if people do it at your schools but at my school there are a bunch of people who spit in water fountains. I dont see why people do it. If you have to spit there are garbage cans you could spit into but people choose to do it in a place where people drink out of. I think it should just be common courtousy to not make other people look at you spit when they want to get a drink of water.
