Gave my G/f her present, and we spent all lunch together. And I took her to the movies, to see the Pink Panther (which is an awsome movie, BTW). A lovely first date to me. How about yours? Perhaps you should consider a more macho approach, (ie. my avatar)
February 16, 200620 yr Well any valentines day I was planning kind of backfired...long story. Turns out the girl i like fancied my best friend who fancied her a *bit* so with my "blessing" (wasn't all that happy about it but wanted her to be happy) he asked her out...in front of me...ouch. They're now happy as anything and he's getting a bit cocky over it all. Turns out one of her best friends fancies me but i don't know if i fancy her and i'm not really over the girl i like. Phew, needed to vent that out Anyway, valentines day, overrated overpriced commercialised day IMO. Give her lots of little surprises throughout the year and she'll appreciate it far more. February 18, 200620 yr I'm not worried so much that it is too commercialised, rather you need something like Valentines Day to show you care about your SO. ShouldnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t the fact you are in a relationship be proof enough that you care for each other (not saying you shouldnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t ever do nice things)? Furthermore you should be doing something nice for your SO because you care about them not because the day is Valentines Day. I donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t know but I like occasionally doing nice things for SOÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s because I care about them, not saving it all up for that ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹ÃâspecialÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ day.

February 21, 200620 yr It may by an over-hyped Halmark holiday, but I like Valentine's. I see it as a good excuse to do something nice for my girlfriend.
