So.. I'm kind of confused with this. To have your quest cape trimmed, you should have master quests completed that you already have done in order to get the quest cape? That's like saying to have the attack cape, you have to have passed level 38, 45, 76, and 81 to wear it.

Your stats look very pest controlled to me. 99 99 99 74 prayer and only 60 slayer? So because he has 74 prayer and 60 slayer, it means he pced. Either way why does it matter? Maybe he didn't enjoy slaying and being told what to train on. Your a joke you nosy fool. If you are so worried about other peoples business on a game, I'd hate to see you in real life.

True that. It may become popular due to it being in a completely different genre, but atleast for me, and many of my friends. A space type game doesn't sound appealing, but their probably is a market out there for it.

And also, the news things don't seem to make much sense. It said in a couple. Something about rs update v10.something going live on january 9th 07. There was no update that day. On January 25, it said they released "force fighter" which I have never heard of.

Whatever you may think of the Chinese, they are not stupid. That would accomplish nothing. The analogy of the illegal drug trade is spot on. Both function in much the same way: the demand from those willing to cheat by buying is the reason for the supply of those willing to cheat by selling, and vice-versa. Ever catch sarcasm? I'm surprised everyone is surprised about this. Considering noone knew it was going to happen, no one must have cared enough to browse thourgh it. A couple months ago Mod Dave made a few posts to see who supported the idea. It was supposed to come sooner, but it finally came through :). The forum seems alot more tight knit since the removal of rs2 accounts also.

Just think of it this way though, the people buying gold were most likely buying large amounts at a time. if it was 500k every 15 minutes, in one hour, you could only trade over 2 mil. This would be a huge hassle for the goldsellers, so they probably would just drop the duel arena all together.

Back it up please? I will admit 3k is obsurd. 500k in 15 minutes does sound fair though.

I say, good for Jagex. This is a great step towards stopping rl trading. Even if there was a new rule that makes players stake exact amounts, they'll just stake that and then own the gold farming noob. That would do nothing for the purpose. RL trading was a huge problem in the game, and will probably still be for awhile. It looks like they are taking steps to stop this, and seeing how much everyone complains on here about it being such a problem, I'd like to see some sacrafices willing to be made. On another point, staking was not a major source of income for to many people. Sure, some people made all their riches from it, but not alot. Most of us would only duel to blow some time. You still have an option, which is better than no option. There are still more than enough ways to make money for them out there. If the stakers are any good, maybe they could move to the wild? Looks like it's time to roll with the changes and get on with it. I for one am fine with the update being here to stay. EDIT: And to those saying just go to the wild, this won't be as easy as it looks. As you can see by roaming f2p, most of the autoers are level 3 characters. No accounts over level 60 are going to be able to attack the level threes in the wild. You may say that they will just use lvl 40's etc. to trade, but that makes a great deal more stress on the autoers/goldfarmers with transferring and trading and all that, which should slow it up immensely. And any other ways of trading, such as dieing can be alot riskier. Some auto noob dies somewhere, maybe the buyer loses connection, someone else walks up. All this would help people opt not to purchase gold, and I think with a few more steps, Jagex will finally have a one up on bots and farmers.

are you that lazy, that it bothers you when you must click on a monster to fight it once in awhile... seriously, it's not a big deal, maybe bringing up the issue is fine, but i don't see why it's something "irritating".

I honestly think in five years, there will not be a runescape(or atleast not a popular one). Just face it, at around lvl 95-100, you just run out of stuff to do.. I don't think a good deal of the people playing now will still be playing in five years. I commend Jagex on what they have done so far, but it will take a GREAT deal more to keep Runescape around another 5 years. I wish the best of luck to them! :)
