I'd like to remind people of the rules pertaining to Times threads:

Rampant flame wars have taken control of virtually every week's times discussion topics. The following guidelines must be followed when posting on this topic. Posts that ignore these guidelines will be removed.

 

1. You are invited and welcome to express like or dislike on articles and a particular author's writing style. It is not acceptable, however, to flame or personally insult an author. Posts that aren't anything but an attack will be removed from the topic.

 

2. Spelling and grammar errors can be reported to tripsis by PMing her and they will be fixed promptly. It is not necessary to post them on the discussion topic.

 

3. Off topic posts that do not discuss the content of that week's articles will be removed. This is not the place to discuss the direction of the times, how much you love or hate the times, etc. Off topic posts will be removed.

 

By keeping within these guidelines, Times discussion topics will mean more for the Panel and Administration than just a place for flame wars. Flame wars do not provide any useful feedback to the Times, which is mainly what we're aiming for with these topics: feedback.

I honestly can't wait for the construction re-work, but at the same time, how's it going to effect the houses we've already built.

 

Also the mini game remake, Trouble brewing might finally be given a breath of life! :D

Mod Jack said at the very least they'd credit you for the materials used on your current house if it couldn't survive the update.

I'm looking forward to all the reworks and minigame revamps. Construction is my favorite skill, well next to Dungeoneering. I'm only 57 Divination and find the skill tedious for what it offers. Nothing new though just another skill to train. I do hope inventor makes the game more interesting. I wouldn't mind another skill that gives a lot of advantage in combat such as Prayer & Herblore.

As long as my KBD heads return to my bank if they can't survive, I'm fine with that.

Haha, reminds me of the time spirit shards were bought out, article shouldve been made then. Funny how you make merchants stand out as hunters for prey. (of stupidity at that) Nontheless it's a limit (on TT) that shouldn't be there.

The first article makes sense to me.

 

The second article is quite a nice recap of what was announced at RuneFest. I personally only watched the first hour of the streaming (where nothing was really said or done), so it's a nice reading - thank you.

I cannot wait until construction rework - right now it's just tedious and pointless.

wasn't the ape vs cabbage thing described as a minigame? something going on that isn't actually part of the larger conflict, since they're sort of still on training wheels and whatnot
