bjanko
Hello everyone! Now that I have a little bit more of an idea about what is going on, i'd like to ask a couple of more specific questions. (For reference, I'm maxed combat stats with 80+ except for divination, which i'm still working out) 1) Drygores: Does it matter at all which you pick? The DPS is the same I believe, but are any of the harder boss monsters weak to anything that requires a certain weapon for it's combat style? I'd like to know before I invest in one (And i've been told it's an important investment to make). 2) Virtus Wand: What's the difference between it and the Chaotic Staff? They have the same stats according to the wiki, is the reason it's so expensive simply because it can be used with a shield (Which i've been told arn't very good in EoC)? I already have a Chaotic Staff, so if possible i'd like to avoid having to save for this... 3) Royal Crossbow: Is it worth getting this simply to stop paying the upkeep on both the offhand chaotic crossbow and normal chaotic crossbow? I don't think it loses any damage. 4) Slayer: Is it necessary to cycle between all styles of combat for slaying? Is cannoning still useful? Power armor is still the best type for slaying, correct? Are there any new tasks worth doing or blocking in terms of effigies and drops? 5) Charms: I have a summoning exp goal which I would like to aim for after I max and I may help a real life friend power-level summoning if they enjoy Runescape with me, via Lootshare. Is Rock lobsters or Waterfiends still the best way to gather charms? 6) Frost Dragons: What's the best method of killing these now after EoC (Range? Melee? Magic? It doesn't matter?), and does using a cannon still give you optimal kills per hour? 7) Queen Black Dragon: I've been told this is a good way to make money, although i'm kind of scared to do so with the new combat system (I don't have any money for higher level equipment bar a drygore if I save another 20m or so, and i've seen that the dragonfire from it used to do 700+ before EoC). With just T8 weapons and T7 gear (I don't have access to ports armor yet), is it a viable way of making money? If so, does anyone have an up to date guide? 8) Jad and Kiln: Now that protect prayers don't give 100% protection, is the best strategy for Jad just to rush him with the best abilities and tier gear you can with soul split on? Does anyone know his maximum hit? I never used to have trouble with him before EoC, but i'm a little wary now that prayers don't fully protect you. 9) God wars dungeon: Does anyone know the weaknesses (attack styles, like slash, bolts, earth spells, etc?) and new strategies for these bosses, mainly in regards to Zammy? (For greater demon tasks). Is it worth doing the hardmode versions, or any version at all, of these bosses for money? 10) Effigies: I hope to pick up a few to add to my sizable collection i've been saving while making money at frost dragons, but i'm now unsure what to use them on. A lot of skills have changed, becoming faster, more expensive, etc. What is it reccomended to use effigies on now? Agility? Slayer? Divination? Buyables? I do have a few more questions, but i'll edit some in later. Thank you all!
mlskid
For frosts I know that using a stab melee weapon is best. DW if you can use the super antifires, if not get herb up until you can. They are pretty easy as far as killing goes.As for the QBD yes, she is very good for money making but I don't personally use her because she annoys me and I've never gotten the hang of killing her. And lastly, Jad is special, he can't hit you if you're protecting against him at all so every other monster has the ability to hit through prayers except him. No worries there. Okay, so frosts are still weak against stab. That's good to know. I'm 99 herblore, so super antifire potions won't be a problem - I just don't know what monster weaknesses, shown or invisible, have changed since before EoC (Apparently a lot of dungeoneering weaknesses changed, for example.) I'm glad to hear that Jad can't hit through prayer. That was worrying me, thank you! I'll edit the first post in with a few questions in a second. Th e Doctor
1. Doesn't really matter at all which drygore you pick. They all have the same DPS and bosses are weakness nonspecific in almost all cases. If anything get the mh mace because it has a +9 prayer bonus. 2. Virtus wand is good because it can be used with off hand virtus book (or other magic offhand weapons). DW magic is currently far better than 2h staffs because of the 5s ability concentrated blast which is significant enough in dps to make t7 dw almost as good if not better than t8 2h staff on anything where accuracy doesn't matter. My recommendation is if you can avoid needing to mage things for a while wait to see what magic weapons we get from Ports 2.0. If it happens to be a DW option we will see Virtus crash hard because people will sell it in favor of "free" better option. 3. If you have DW chaotic crossbows don't get royal. DW has slightly better abilities and therefore better dps. There is upkeep cost on the royal as well and in the grand scheme of things they're all so small that it doesn't matter. 4. For slayer it depends. If you are using t7 weapons you will want to switch styles but can ignore subweaknesses (i.e. use magic but it doesn't matter if you use an earth specific spell for the earth weakness, water fire and air spells will work just fine). If you are using t8 weapons you can generally get away with not switching for weakness at all excepting high defense and special cases (ganodermics and ascensions). If you are using t9 weapons you can ignore weaknesses entirely excepting special cases. Cannoning doesn't tag monsters anymore so you won't get exp from the kill if you don't hit the monster personally. You will still get the drops however as long as no one else hits what your cannon was hitting. Power armor is still the best, t7 GWD sets being the most widely used. As far as what tasks to block/cancel I'll quote Q's post on my thread earlier to The Slayer Model Try this.I'm guessing you want to avoid strykewyrms (except ice) and spiritual mages and such. 5. For charms you have a couple options. Waterfiends are the best for crimsons. If you have have drygores you can also do KBD quickhop killing for close to 300 crimsons an hour (wfs are 350ish). The best for charms overall is Glacors giving 100+ of both crimson and blue charms per hour as well as some of the best magic exp in the game and 3-4 mil profit to boot. If you can do glacors do them. Remember to use familiarization to triple your charm drops as often as possible. 6. Cannon gives the best KPH for frosts yes. If you have t8 weapons you can use any of them on frosts with almost equal results. Range with your DW chaotic crossbows will allow you to tag quickly which would be nice for stealing/keeping drops. There are better options out there for making money these days, but if you want decent combat exp as well as some random charms I believe they can still pull in 3 m/hr 7. QBD is one of the best money makers in game still. Once you've maxed stats/gear you can get upwards of 25 kph at around 250-300 k per kill or 6-7.5 mil/hr. She is doable in t7 power armor and chaotics but she hits like a truck and I can't see your stats to know if you have soul split. Without soul split I would not recommend it. If you can afford a drygore mainhand and chaotic offhand and have 95 prayer/overloads I would definitely check her out. A guide to use can be found here. Not the best guide but its a decent overview. Its very easy to get back to your grave. Go fiddle around and die a few times to get the nerves out and then give it a serious go. 8. Protection prayers are still 100% on jads (I think you get hit for like 2 or 3 damage but its close enough to 100% to count). Strategy is still the same except for most people mage him now due to most things in the cave being weak to water spells. 9. Sara is weak to water spells and K'ril is weak to fire spells. The other two have no specific weakness. It is not worth doing Hardmode for any of the GWD bosses besides just for fun or if you really want to get the soul stone. Zammy will do his special even if you are using soul split and not a protection prayer but besides that mechanics are still the same. Youtube has some pretty decent guides on all 4 of these bosses. I believe all of them average between 1-4 mil per hour for cash but QBD is less prep, easier to get to, and consistently better profit. If you're doing it for slayer tasks though it'll be a nice way to make some cash and get a break from the other monotonous tasks. 10. Effigies got updated so that you can no longer have more than 5 at a time. If you had more than 5 in your bank when the update happened you will not be able to get more until you have less than 5 again. On top of that the odds of getting one decreases with every one that you have saved, so your best bet to get effigies is to use all of them so you have none and then use any that you get as drops as soon as you get them. Agility or divination are the go to dumps for the dragonkin lamps. I would argue that putting them into agility is better because it is in no way AFK. If you have more questions I would recommend checking out rswiki and youtube before posting here as some of the things you asked for are listed on there and are easy to find (such as K'ril's weakness). Cheers! As far as what tasks to block/cancel I'll quote Q's post on my thread earlier to The Slayer Model Okay, awesome. Good to know that I won't have to blow money on cannoning tasks. I don't have as much money as some people do x.x; 5. For charms you have a couple options. Waterfiends are the best for crimsons. If you have have drygores you can also do KBD quickhop killing for close to 300 crimsons an hour (wfs are 350ish). That's awesome news. I was looking into doing Glacors, but I saw that Storm of Armadyl (and the boots) had been nerfed, and didn't know if it was worth going back at all. I was never very good at them to begin with, I just couldn't get the hang of them. I do take advantage of familiarization though, thank you! 6. Cannon gives the best KPH for frosts yes. If you have t8 weapons you can use any of them on frosts with almost equal results. Range with your DW chaotic crossbows will allow you to tag quickly which would be nice for stealing/keeping drops. There are better options out there for making money these days, but if you want decent combat exp as well as some random charms I believe they can still pull in 3 m/hr Okay, thanks for clarifying for me. I'm not really interested in exp, but I am interested in making money (to upgrade gear and level skills). What other options are better for making money? The new bosses? 7. Its very easy to get back to your grave. Go fiddle around and die a few times to get the nerves out and then give it a serious go. I do have soul split (and turmoil). I didn't know that the QBD was such a good money maker! I will check out that guide when I get enough to buy my Drygore, thank you. 8. Protection prayers are still 100% on jads (I think you get hit for like 2 or 3 damage but its close enough to 100% to count). Strategy is still the same except for most people mage him now due to most things in the cave being weak to water spells. Thanks! 9. Sara is weak to water spells and K'ril is weak to fire spells. If you're doing it for slayer tasks though it'll be a nice way to make some cash and get a break from the other monotonous tasks. Okay, thank you. Bandos and Armadyl don't have any specific player-tested weakness, like Slash, or bolts or something like that? The same with Zammy, I believe he used to be weak to stab? I'll see if I can find a more recent guide on youtube, many of the guides I looked for were marked as "old". Oh wow. Okay, I better work on finishing off my stats to open up all effigies as quick as I can then. Agility is still the go-to? Okay, thank you! If you have more questions I would recommend checking out rswiki and youtube before posting here as some of the things you asked for are listed on there and are easy to find (such as K'ril's weakness). Cheers! I did take a look at the wiki before coming and asking, and I did find that K'ril's weakness is Fire Spells. It didn't list any other specific weakness though, and that's what I was enquiring about. Sorry to be so vague! Unless things don't have more then one weakness, or no hidden weaknesses, in which case i'm silly, ignore me! I did look for some guides on youtube to GWD and Frosts as I mentioned, but most of the guides I found were marked "old" and one frost dragon guide I saw had a guy in full bandos and an empty inventory run in and start attacking them until his HP got low, then he ran out and home teled to bank. If there's still good guides out there, i'll go look for them there then! I wasn't sure if there was. Thank you very much for your help!
Levells
Sara is weak to nothing. Hasn't been for a while now. Don't use blood spells unless you want to die. Her stats go through the roof. She will wipe you out. Arma is easier to range than Mage, due to Armor strengths. Assuming all t80 weapons, I could see it as a tossup for bandos whether to Mage or melee, but once you have drygores, that's the way to go.Even with drygores, I'd say Sara depends on your armor. I do it in a tetsu/torva mix, used to do it in full t850 defense Gear. You might be better off maging to start, or bring both and give melee a shot, switching to your Mage gear if you're getting hit/eating too much to heal properly. *insert shameless plug* if you're not in a clan, maybe I could interest you in mine? We're a little lacking in higher level bossers, but we've also got quite a few who are at the group level, and they'd love to go up with you if you want to get back into things slowly before giving solos a shot. We also do a few events a week. Cc is open, my FC is open, and PM is always on. Link in my signature if you're interested. Also, I'm running the Sara event for tip. It tomorrow, so feel free to swing by :)

It tomorrow, so feel free to swing by :) Didn't know that Sara had been changed, thanks. I haven't been to her since before the blood spells update. Stev once showed me how to blood barrage kree however and it was faster than range not to mention almost entirely afk so I would say its a tossup. I would love to come with your clan to any bossing events you guys do if you're open to outsiders coming. Let me know. @ OP Other ways of making money besides frosts and QBD... 1. Herb Farming is still decent. I only do torstols because I mostly want the exp from them but I average ~180 k profit per run with all available boosts and t4 aura.2. Glacors and QBD I already mentioned.3. Ascension Monsters once mastered can range between 3-4.5 mil per hour.4. After The World Wakes Automatons in max gear/stats average between 3-4 mil per hour.5. Ganodermic beasts are still around 3 mil per hour. 6. If you have the tan leather spell from Livid Farm you can make decent money depending on the hide you're making (2-3 mil per hour depending on GE prices that you get them at). 7. Slayer is profitable albeit not that much. Sirenic scales helped a little bit but mostly come in to play only on high level slayer monsters like ascension creatures. 8. MTK is still profitable. 9. Player Owned Ports (once you've reached the endgame of it) is around 500 k profit per day for almost no effort. I highly recommend starting it ASAP because the other update coming out for t8.5 weapons, rings, and capes is likely to make it even more profitable. Not to mention you get a good way of getting emergency gear (t8.5 defensive so if you need to sell some armor to afford drygore/ascension/virtus etc you can have it as a fall back). Armadyl Drops : 4 Hilts; 3 Chestplates; 2 Chainskirts; 1 Helmet; 1 Buckler; 2 Shard 1; 2 Shard 2; 1 Shard 3Nex : 1 Zaryte BowKalphite King : 1 Drygore Rapier ; 1 Drygore Longsword : 1 Drygore Offhand Rapier : 1 Drygore Offhand Longsword

We all know Stev loves his barraging and afking (dying) :pI haven't maged Kree since probably last December tbh, and that was with my abs, since it was the highest weapon I had at the time. Virtus is a bit too expensive to be an option for most people, I think, and I doubt ctaff is anywhere near as effective. So....I'd guess the order goes Virtus > ccbs/royal/zaryte > cstaff > others, and Ascension thrown in there somewhere (better than Virtus?). Unless it's possible/semi-effective to use Ahrim's wand/book, I think I'll personally stick with ranging. OP doesn't have wand either. If you come to events, it makes it easier to lure you in :p Most bossing trips aren't scheduled, but next month we've got 1 scheduled boss a week. Anyone's welcome to guest in. We don't bite...much. Wkw
My replies are in boldHello everyone! No, however, main hand mace is better than anything else because it has a prayer bonus. The general condescension for drygores is:If you're going to camp KK, use rapiersIf you're going to be abilityspamming everything, main hand mace and off hand rapierIf you're going to be momentum slaying, dual maces 2) Virtus Wand: What's the difference between it and the Chaotic Staff? They have the same stats according to the wiki, is the reason it's so expensive simply because it can be used with a shield (Which i've been told arn't very good in EoC)? I already have a Chaotic Staff, so if possible i'd like to avoid having to save for this...The difference between vwand/book and cstaff isn't a lot, but it is enough to make the wand and book worth a lot. Don't stress yourself over getting wand and book, because staff will do you fine 3) Royal Crossbow: Is it worth getting this simply to stop paying the upkeep on both the offhand chaotic crossbow and normal chaotic crossbow? I don't think it loses any damage.Royal bow is great and cheap, however, chaotics are better for momentum slaying. For ability spam, they are equal 4) Slayer: Is it necessary to cycle between all styles of combat for slaying? Is cannoning still useful? Power armor is still the best type for slaying, correct? Are there any new tasks worth doing or blocking in terms of effigies and drops? Not necessary to cycle. For things that are stronger, its suggested, but you would be able to use any style vs most monsters 5) Charms: I have a summoning exp goal which I would like to aim for after I max and I may help a real life friend power-level summoning if they enjoy Runescape with me, via Lootshare. Is Rock lobsters or Waterfiends still the best way to gather charms? The best way to get charms by far is slayer, with a charming imp from dungeons (100k tokens). However if you want to camp for them, do waterfiends. In armadyl, with royal xbow, a waterfiend slayer task, triple charms, and ability spam, I was able to pull 800 crimsons in 40 minutes. 6) Frost Dragons: What's the best method of killing these now after EoC (Range? Melee? Magic? It doesn't matter?), and does using a cannon still give you optimal kills per hour?Doesn't matter, just don't cannon, and watch for the blue orb, or you'll die 7) Queen Black Dragon: I've been told this is a good way to make money, although i'm kind of scared to do so with the new combat system (I don't have any money for higher level equipment bar a drygore if I save another 20m or so, and i've seen that the dragonfire from it used to do 700+ before EoC). With just T8 weapons and T7 gear (I don't have access to ports armor yet), is it a viable way of making money? If so, does anyone have an up to date guide? You'll do fine. Mainhand drygores with off hand chaotic, any armor (bandos recommended) and super antifires would be fine. Might take you a few tries, but it is best money maker :) 8) Jad and Kiln: Now that protect prayers don't give 100% protection, is the best strategy for Jad just to rush him with the best abilities and tier gear you can with soul split on? Does anyone know his maximum hit? I never used to have trouble with him before EoC, but i'm a little wary now that prayers don't fully protect you.Take it from someone who was a sucker for jad pre-eoc, he is easy now. DEAD EASY. With a shield, you won't take any damage, and have three get-out-of-jail-free cards.. Resonance, barricade, and immortality. Max hit is around 5k I believe? But it is always much less with proper prayer switching 9) God wars dungeon: Does anyone know the weaknesses (attack styles, like slash, bolts, earth spells, etc?) and new strategies for these bosses, mainly in regards to Zammy? (For greater demon tasks). Is it worth doing the hardmode versions, or any version at all, of these bosses for money?Hardmode isn't worth it.For armadyl, range with the best gearFor zammy, mage with fire spells (or melee if you have drygores)Sara, melee or mageBandos, magic, blood barrage, and momentum afk it :p 10) Effigies: I hope to pick up a few to add to my sizable collection i've been saving while making money at frost dragons, but i'm now unsure what to use them on. A lot of skills have changed, becoming faster, more expensive, etc. What is it reccomended to use effigies on now? Agility? Slayer? Divination? Buyables?Use them on what you dislike training the most; divination, theiving, agility are what I use the on now.. but they are VERY rare now I do have a few more questions, but i'll edit some in later. bjanko
Hi all! Thank you for the replies! Sara is weak to nothing. Hasn't been for a while now. Don't use blood spells unless you want to die. Her stats go through the roof. She will wipe you out. Blood spells make her stats go up? I better check out a guide before I go there then...sounds like they've made a lot of changes. Arma is easier to range than Mage, due to Armor strengths. Assuming all t80 weapons, I could see it as a tossup for bandos whether to Mage or melee, but once you have drygores, that's the way to go.Even with drygores, I'd say Sara depends on your armor. Will Deflect range suffice, or will I just need to out-dps it with soul split? (I like how I can now use curses there, though.) *insert shameless plug* if you're not in a clan, maybe I could interest you in mine? We're a little lacking in higher level bossers, but we've also got quite a few who are at the group level, and they'd love to go up with you if you want to get back into things slowly before giving solos a shot. We also do a few events a week. Cc is open, my FC is open, and PM is always on. Link in my signature if you're interested. Also, I'm running the Sara event for tip. It tomorrow, so feel free to swing by :) Ahh! Thank you for the offer. While I do have maxed stats though, as i'm still trying to get used to the combat system I don't think i'd be any good, there's just too much going on at once. I've got to try and get used to it, i've been solo dungeoneering just to avoid people seeing how bad i'm going >.< Although, I don't have any good gear at the moment (Still procrastinating on buying a Drygore...), and i've heard that stats don't matter as much as gear anymore, so I think that I fall under the group level, and quite ashamed of it too >.<! Thank you for the invitation though. For the same reason, I think i'll avoid the Tip.it Sara event. ^^; Nothing personal, I've always felt a little underwhelming in combat compared to my peers and i'm self-conscious about it. (I never went to nex, even in a mass, pre-eoc, for example.) @ OP Other ways of making money besides frosts and QBD... Awesome, thank you for that! I'm doing Fellstalks at the moment. I know it's not the greatest profit, maybe only 30k/run, if that, but the farming exp is still generally break-even and not half-bad. Once I can boost to 97 for effigies I'll start doing something more profitable. I don't have 95 slayer for Ganodermic beasts and I didn't really have anything to do with the Polypore dungeon before I left, so I don't know anything about them ^^; I'm working on my Player Owned Port as much as I can at the moment. I'm in the Skull region and i'm 60% of the way to the next region, I focus on scroll voyages and I get new crew and upgrades as soon as I can (Minus rudder upgrades, I only buy those when I have enough resources to buy a small town out). If you come to events, it makes it easier to lure you in :P Most bossing trips aren't scheduled, but next month we've got 1 scheduled boss a week. Anyone's welcome to guest in. We don't bite...much. It's the much that i'm worried about! I'm doing some skilling and ports at the moment, but a little later on tonight i'm going to take a look into the Queen Black Dragon and see how I go with it. If I can get it downpact, maybe i'll buy a drygore weapon and camp it for a little bit to try and make some money =] I might also go to the God Wars Dungeon for some fun once I read up on it, just using some welfare gear, but i'll need to make a little bit of money first and make some overloads - I had a *lot* less then I thought I had after looking, haha. No, however, main hand mace is better than anything else because it has a prayer bonus. The general condescension for drygores is:If you're going to camp KK, use rapiersIf you're going to be abilityspamming everything, main hand mace and off hand rapierIf you're going to be momentum slaying, dual maces Thank you! Why would you use a main hand mace and off-hand rapier for ability spamming? (And by extention, why would you use dual maces for momentum slaying?) The difference between vwand/book and cstaff isn't a lot, but it is enough to make the wand and book worth a lot. Don't stress yourself over getting wand and book, because staff will do you fineRoyal bow is great and cheap, however, chaotics are better for momentum slaying. For ability spam, they are equalNot necessary to cycle. For things that are stronger, its suggested, but you would be able to use any style vs most monsters Thank you! Yup, i'm planning on getting most of my charms for my exp goal by finishing slayer. However, i'd like to be able to maybe lootshare charms to a friend in the future. 800 charms in 40 minutes is crazy! Thanks for that =] I'll look into getting one of those Charming Imps as soon as I can. Doesn't matter, just don't cannon, and watch for the blue orb, or you'll die Awesome. Why do you advise not cannoning? Was it nerfed? You'll do fine. Mainhand drygores with off hand chaotic, any armor (bandos recommended) and super antifires would be fine. Might take you a few tries, but it is best money maker :) Once again, thank you very much! I'll give it a go later on, as I mentioned =] Take it from someone who was a sucker for jad pre-eoc, he is easy now. DEAD EASY. With a shield, you won't take any damage, and have three get-out-of-jail-free cards.. Resonance, barricade, and immortality. Max hit is around 5k I believe? But it is always much less with proper prayer switching Wow...Guess i'm going for those Caves tasks then. Thanks for pointing out those shield abilities! Hardmode isn't worth it.For armadyl, range with the best gearFor zammy, mage with fire spells (or melee if you have drygores)Sara, melee or mageBandos, magic, blood barrage, and momentum afk it :P Thank you! Is Bandos "weak" to magic now? Use them on what you dislike training the most; divination, theiving, agility are what I use the on now.. but they are VERY rare now Aw, that's a shame. Thank you all so much for the help and support! =]
Wkw
In no particular order..Blood spells at sara gwd, yes, they make her deal tripple damage, and it stacks a few times.. Don't do it.You should be fine at armadyl with range prayer or deflectNot totally sure why mhm + ohr are best, but that is just what I've seenDual maces for momentum because they have the fastest attack speedCannoning is bad, because unless YOU tag the monster by attacking it, you won't get xpBandos isn't particurally weak to magic, just that momentum blood barrage with soul split and a vamp aura allow you to heal more than he hits for the most part. His weakness is "none", so any style is equally effective, it is just some people prefer to afk more than others! bjanko
Thanks for the response! Blood spells at sara gwd, yes, they make her deal tripple damage, and it stacks a few times.. Don't do it. Wow, that's kinda...lame. Was there some kind of abusable bug or something that caused blood spells to chew through her or something, so they nerfed them? o.O You should be fine at armadyl with range prayer or deflect Okay, thank you! So *don't* use soul split then? Thank you! =] I did try out the QBD last night with Royal Dhide and dual chaotic crossbows, and I couldn't get past the fourth phase. It's not that I couldn't stop the time stop attacks or that the souls koed me, I just ran out of food. I went through a yak and most of an inventory full of food per attempt and no matter what, I just didn't have enough supplies. Should I try using a shield instead? I was using Soul Split and Anguish the whole time, as well as overloads. I tried using a steel titan to kill her faster, but I had to tab out on the third phase just because I ran out of food even quicker. I tried using a unicorn to save the adrenaline loss from food and tried to rely more on soul split, but I just died due to lack of healing that time. :p I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong. =[
krimi
Use your threshold abilities to power through the third and fourth phases. Using your ultimate buff and adrenaline potions make your thresholds more effective. Melee thresholds like assault and destroy are particularly good. Using your ultimate buff and adrenaline potions make your thresholds more effective. Melee thresholds like assault and destroy are particularly good. I tried doing that with melee and i'm not sure if it was lag or just inexperience but I ended up getting comboed a lot and dying. I can't seem to get the hang of it, so I might just camp a few frost dragons until I get some better gear and avoid the QBD for now, since I don't seem to be any good at it. ^^;
krimi
When the third wave starts, I use assault then destroy. Ideally, I want to finish the third wave with 100% adrenaline and assault off cooldown. I use berserk once I start the fourth wave. A sip of adrenaline potion, one auto-attack, and two abilities should bring me to 50% adrenaline. Qbd should go down after assault. A few other berserked abilities will take down qbd if assault didn't. I can power through timestop sometimes if I am quick enough. Sometimes I do have to deal with timestop or avoid the tormented souls+hugebreath combo, and those two situations definately slow me down and force me to eat more than usual. That's how I do it. The more experienced people here have better strategies I presume.
Wkw
With sara gwd, it was very possible to 100% AFK with t70 dual mage, momentum, and blood barrage. Not even soul split.. So they removed her weakness to magic and made blood spells buff her. Cheap fix, i know. Royal dhide sucks. You should be using at the least karils (if you're ranging). She is a t80 stats boss so of course you're going to get hit harder and more often in t65 armor. I would say its worth it to drop a few mil on tradeable ports over royal for sure and karils maybe.
