The feeling to have bought Sleeping Dogs for like $75, as an example.I guess the unspoken rule of thumb is NOT to buy games outside of sales periods unless you are really that keen. June 23, 201412 yr As tempted as i've been to buy some games, i've decided to be strong and not give in. Last steam sale i spent about $300 and most of those games are still waiting to be played. So hard though, when you see something you might like, and you can't get it.

Buy games as gifts and store them in your inventory. That way if you change your mind later you can trade them for other games.
