Got 6 def thnx to the same bug in duel arena. i trained with guthans got lag while using it on the first attack mode(when switched to whip its accurate) then switched from accurate to defensive style, and still got attack exp. just a lag bug
February 26, 200620 yr back in the good old times, when the granite maul had the 3hit spec, i potted, turned pray on and i had the maul on strenght, hitted 25 23 27 and got 4 defense :/
February 26, 200620 yr my pure has 17 def from rsc :oops: It was originally a 10 def pure....but on classics when u log in its automatically set on controlled fighting style, and u cant change the style untill you are in combat, so if u 1 hit something, bring on the def xp :( there was also a bug for unassigned xp on classic that could give you def exp from another person that didnt fully kill a monster and logged out (you didnt get exp untill the monster was completely dead in classic) On rs2 i would guess alot of the def exp comes from switching weapons or accidentally using weapons like spears :? February 26, 200620 yr I've never really had a pure yet, but I've heard of ppl with rangers or mages forgetting or not knowing that focus/longrange gave you def exp too. Combat 116+; Total 1900+; All Hard Tasks; (Nearly) All quest points; (Nearly) All skills 60+; An aquatic moose ninja.Currently: Using 63 hunter to get some of those "Chins", then I'm going to range stuff down. Interruptions of agility when I feel like it, as well.And lucky enough to get 4 Dragon and 6 Barrow Drops.[hide]Kwimbob now looks exactly like me in real life except for hair color. Yes, this means I look exactly like the protagonist of that certain anime that my second character, Faye_V is also named after. Yes, I bought a jacket that also looks like his. February 27, 200620 yr Ive done it before. I went into the wildy, just exploring. I was wearing nothing, i didnt know fight mode was set to defense. Some one attacked me, i attacked them back, hit on them, and got a defense level =[ Now i dont bother with pures :D - d3nic
February 27, 200620 yr on my pure ranger that i ditched, for this reason specifiacally, i was afking on rats in the wild, and i put long ranged on by accident, and got 3 defense lvls, he was only level 15 ranged so ditched it and made a hybrid instead.
