Mercifull
hardly an achievement. its like the wooden spoon prize Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. Bubsa
Looking back on Man U's "achievements" over the last couple of years... FA Cup: Man United beat Millwall, a team in the division below, 3-0. League Cup: Man United beat a team promoted just this year whose main interest is league survival 4-0. Wow. Staggering. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.

Who do you support? Are you saying that we chose who would make it to the final? If we would have lost those matches, I'm sure you would be talking about that too now, so what were we supposed to do? Bubsa
I agree that you can only beat what's put in front of you, of course. Just telling the previous poster not to get too carried away with the er..'achievement'. Fair doose though, a win's a win. The other person made out like they'd won the league, though. Phil
Well done Man Utd :) People here make it sound as if it isn't an achievment at all. It is one of the major cups in English football. I'm sure Arsenal or Liverpool would have gladly taken it since the League cup is better than no silverware, isn't it? Bubsa: You say that there wasn't much competion in the final for Man Utd. If that was right what happened to Liverpool in the League cup? Why weren't they in the final giving Man U a good challenge? Oh that's right, they got knocked out by a Championship side :P
Lageris89
I live in and support Wigan, they played terrible today. I'm not too fussed though. And we're hardly fighting to stay in the Premiership, for whoever said that.

razzzzzza
urm Wigan are a team who were contending for the win near the start beat asrenal and got to the final, they're priority in this game was to win, and most of the season has been that too, Man U where the better team and Busba how ever much you may flame anything I do , you was wrong there. He never said anything about Wigan's performance this season. He said their main aim is to stay in the Premiership. A team doesn't get promoted and expect to win the league - Avoiding relegation would be satisfactory for Wigan is what he's saying. RebelAssassin
the league cup is only there becuase of sponsors anyway. The FA cup is where the priority for anyteam should lie, besides i think you should be worrying about getting an automatic champions league spot rather than celebrating a, what Mercifull put it as, wooden spoon cup. www.PETAkillsanimals.com
Rizla
United deserved the win, but i'm pretty sure the Carling Cup was last on their priorities list at the start of the season. I can see Bubsa's point; Barnet, West Brom, Birmingham, Blackburn, Wigan - not exactly the toughest of opposition - but as was said, you can only beat what's put in front of you. Kirk and Lars I could handle. At the same time.

quintip2
i support wigan, and are gutted about losing but not perticularly bothered because if we can get to the final in are first season in the premiership then we can do it again. and it didnt help us much with are goal kepper going off injured after 14minutes, we outsung you all the way through and beat up quite a few of your fans inside and outside of the stadium. and yes i was there. Bubsa
^ It's true, Man U haven't got any songs. But if you think football hooliganism makes up for your loss, well, you sir are the opitome of why I'm ashamed to support the England national team. Oh and as for your chances next season: Remember the Ipswich, Mr Crockett. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
