SDragoon2
Now this is my first post but I have to admit that Free Members get nothing compared to members. I think that there should be more open for non-members and less updates for members. I have been playing RS since 2004 and Its just gottem booring for me because there isnt anything new for me to do as a non-member.

Idarodo
"Free members" I think this is the 100th topic about this. Why would JaGeX give f2p's (including myself, but only atm) more updates than p2p's? You pay what you play. I agree, there should maybe be 1 or 2 updates to f2p's, but gawd, 5 $ a month isnt THAT much. 6,521th to 99 woodcutting | Fletching 98/99 | Idarodo | Combat 90 | Total 1565+ | 38m+ total exp Retired. harper128
Another "gimmie" post. *sigh* I'm free to play also. If you're really bored with playing, try playing differently. Try chatting, actually chatting, with some of the other players. Try PKing for a bit. Try changing your gender and playing as the opposite sex for a while (I think f2p can get to that area, can't they? Haven't tried myself.) Go change your appearance to something different. Walk around in the strangest combination of clothing you can think of. Try and find the best outfit for yourself. There is so much that you CAN do, even as f2p that it is ridiculous. Done all the quests? Help someone else try them. Explored all the dungeons? Take someone else around. Tired of your character? Start a new one, but make it different. Pick an accent and start talking with it everywhere you go. Make up your own little stories and play them out. Talk to the NPC's like they're real people and watch everyone stop and stare at you. harper128
A nice discussion? Heh, that particular "request" is perhaps the biggest point on these boards that springs the worst possible discussions. They usually degenerate into name calling, flaming and worse and have to be locked by a mod just so that someone can take an extinguisher to them. If you want a nice discussion...umm...well, a forum usually isn't the place for it. Too many people willing to be contrary just to be contrary. *whistles innocently* In anycase, Welcome to the forums. Don't let your first post(s) (now) be your last. SDragoon2
No I'll stay. I'm actually only Lv 35 at the moment. Kinda bored because I've done almost all of the quests and such. Not sure If I'm in the Historics yet though. I know I use to be but then I stoped playing for 6 months.
bjbj1991
less updates for members Sorry but this line just put you at the bottom of the food chain in a members' eye. F2P infact get it relitivly good. They have 25% the members world, about 25% the items, 25% of the quests almost, 50% of the guilds, 75% of the wildy. And most importantly, you can get 99 in almost every skill in the game FOR FREE.

Biabf
I believe they had one just recently. Why do you thnk they are not updating members first? To keep the F2P happy for a while... Giordano
Jagex wants more cash, so they give the p2p more updates to enurage f2p to buy members. Indizle
Make up your own little stories and play them out. Talk to the NPC's like they're real people and watch everyone stop and stare at you. Yea, like a member friend of mine got a wand from the training arena, and since we both like harry potter, we went around f2p as harry (him) and ron weasly (me). To match the part of ron, i went and redid my hair, got the bobble scarf (closest to gryfindor colors), black robes (look old and ragged like weasley robes would), and wc'ed until my axe head fell off so it looked like i had a wand on me. We wanderd aroud, using the White Knights Castle as the main hogwarts building, Draynor Manor as the shrieking shack, Wizard's tower as Gryffindor house, Draynor village as Hogsmeade, etc. We took "classes" like "transfiguration" (alchemy), potions (basically just mixing Strenght Potion (1-2 doses) together), stuff like that. A lot of people called us freaks, but it was so fun. We even had a random girl join up with us as Ginny Weasley. Just goes to show how one can have fun doing stupid stuff like that. I mean, I find that much down my sofa every week >.< Umm, can I have your sofa? Must be one of those magic ones that keep refilling with money.:) Indizle, great story, maybe it will inspire others to do just what this game is here for...have fun. Minishcap92, please try and keep it civil. Note that the first posts quashing this one were by f2p players, the "they" you are refering to, and the very first post really just saying "use search first". Both Idarodo and myself were jumping on this before any members were, and, well, I think our comments were more constructive than yours. Personally, I take offense at your blatent grouping of all f2p players in this manner. To everyone else, thank you for your kind comments. While some people see a clear division between the f2p and p2p communities, I hope the majority of us remember that we are all a part of the Runescape community. AND i dont feel the need to ask for more f2p updates. im a f2per for life, so if one comes, ill be happy and grateful, but i wont ask/beg/be an annoying noob for more f2p update. please, no more threads asking for more f2p updates. please? and sorry if this is a tad flamy, but sdragoon2 shouldnt have left tutorial island.
