March 17, 200620 yr Ok guys this is my story and it's all for real.... I was slaying kalphites and I got poisined so i whipped out my guthans to try and heal back up, and I eventually started getting hit a fair bit (I was killing the 141's). I used up all my anti pots, and sharks, and I got down to 12 hp and teled to draynor. As soon as I teled, my bloody comp froze... I got connection lost then I found myself in fally with guthans plate, helm and skirt... I ran to fally bank, put in my pin and withdrew a glory and teled straight back to draynor. I saw some stuff and i was really releived but I soon noticed that some of my stuff was missing from pile and there was a lvl 53 person picking it up. I noticed I didn't get my guthans spear back (the most expensive thing around 6 mil) and I started asking if anyone got it. The lvl 53 said he got it and I asked if i could have it back and he said ok, so he gave it back!! :D Then I asked him if he wanted any free stuff and he said 50 laws so i gave it to him, and he was like "tyvm!!!!" :P . Then he asked if I wanted my other stuff back which I thought was just like full black dhide, and he traded me and put up that stuff as well as a whip, and an obby shield that i totally forgot about!! He accepted and so did I. I then offered him another 500 laws, and he was so thankful! He actually said "green:wave2:ty vm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!". He musn't have known the value of what he gave to me (around 10 mil) but I am so thankful there are still so very nice people out there... This is my story :)
March 17, 200620 yr Author oh my dude if i was that lvl 53 i'd be loggin off to world 2 right now =P 8) I guess I'm really lucky that you weren't that guy :P omg im still so pumped... he gave me 10 mil worth of stuff, and i gave him 550 laws :P my only loss was the laws and 100k to recharge spear... i'm so dam lucky, I didnt lose a single thing :) I am thankful that guy was there.

March 17, 200620 yr there is still nice people around, just look it up :) btw, you should add him, and maybe give smth nice next occasion u will see him. 1500+ total 89 cmb; 1600+ total and under 93 cmb. 02/04/07 reached all skills 60+ under lvl 90 cmb. 07/19/07 reached all skills 70+ at lvl 93 cmb.Prayer is good for herbs
March 17, 200620 yr I would believe this if it showed him accepting it. EDIT : I re read it, its really lucky he gave it back to ya, now adays if you die and drop something valuable, expect it to be gone!
March 17, 200620 yr Author I can't beleive my luck. I'm sure more than 75% of people would have just banked a whip and obby shield and guthans spear. I'm really lucky I got a guy who was really nice about dieing. Before this happened, if I was someone who picked up something that someone had dropped I probably would have kept it, but now I would definately give it back. This experience has totally changed my views. From now on I vow to help anyone who needs help or give anything back, to be the best darn RS player I can be!

I would have given it back to the person, but I couldn't fin him, and I couldn't remember his name. March 17, 200620 yr Great story there, you were very very lucky :P I would have given him a mil, he would have been wrapped. I once picked up full zammy in the abyss, poor guy brang uncooked tuna (LOL) and died. When i got back to edgeville after my run I couldn't find him so I kept it :P

March 17, 200620 yr whoa that was really nice of that guy... and now for the sad part of my post. one of my best friends (lvl 112) in rl plays rs aswell and we did alot of things together and shared most of our time on rs together fishing, cw, fite pits, skilling ect. last week he told me on msn that that the power went off in his house while he was at TzHaars... He lost his whip guthans spear and helm, fire cape fury and rune boots all in 1 shot. all togeher it was only 15mill he lost, but the fire cape hit him hardest and decided to quit. funny how u can lose all that you have worked for hard for in the last 3 years because of a blackout or a pc crash...
