meatcar
I am making my first pixel siggy. Look at it, but know that it is not even 1/2 done. This is just basic colours, the shading is yet to come. To see my amazing pixeling abilities, look at my avy. Here is the sig:
10secondhero
a sword would split the coin, youd have to draw a sword from bottom right to top left as you said, but only just peirce the coin, as if its balancing, but it would ruin your coin design if it speared it a little

meatcar
How about this? I worked a bit, and added a shadow. I think it really helped. THis is now a WIP discussion.
Lowgravity
If you remove the bottom part of the sword where you tryed to make it 3d the perspective will be correct  . Lowgravity, I want to be just like you. But...I never will be as 1337 as you. :(

Evilperson
I like the concept. Seems empty though. Everybody lovin' it, but ain't no body touchin' it
Adroit
The potential is definetly there, just make sure you add alot of detail to the sword, i'd make something like a character spinning the sword in his fingers instead with the coin flying in two pieces, but meh, thats just me, good luck! -Adroit\\ RuneScape Retired since '06, sn= Superstud07
RcS89
You need to take the colour off the coin... it's all about subtlety ;)
meatcar
Here is an update on the pic. PPL, this is an art peice not a siggy. I will not plan 2 use it as a siggy. It is here so i can practice my pixeling skilz and recieve advice how i can improve. The coin is being ballanced, not being cut in half. Please critisize the quality, not the composition.[/img]
Despaxes
Please critisize the quality, not the composition composition is 3/4 of art thanks everyone for the sigs!

meatcar
I never said its done, did i? Its still a WIP. not a compleeted peice of art.
_k0m0d0_
I like the concept. Seems empty though. Ditto 8) You need to fill the mountains with some texture... I know its a WIP, just suggestions.. Maybe a house and lots of trees... ~komodo
hopfroghop7
Hm.. The coin looks as though it would fall off, it needs to be more on the other side of the sword. I know that makes it where you cant see all of the coins art.. maybe tilt the sword more twords the viewer? Of course if you did that then it would really look like its gonna fall off.. :wall: It just doesnt look right.
