Any thoughts about this are greatly appreciated. Edit: it looks rather vague here because the distance between the numbers is different here.

March 25, 200620 yr Author Yea I know its a ltitle vague, but to the left vertically, are the attack levels and at the top horizontally are the defence levels, the numbers between are the percentage chance of hitting the formula is this: If the attacker's attack is lower then the defenders defendse then you have to do this: attackers attack / defenders defence * 50% But If the attacker's attack is higher then the defenders defendse then you have to do this, 100% - (defenders defence / attackers attack * 50%) Hope its more clear now

March 25, 200620 yr Author Yes I think there is a link between attacker's attack vs defenders defence and hit ratio, else attack and defence would be useless stats. It would be more clear if I could make tabels here, because this isnt really informative.
March 25, 200620 yr I don;t really think theres a link, atleast not a direct one Attack - higher lvl higher cahnce of hitting Defence - high lvl higher chance of not being hit Personally i don;t think ratio between different npcs etc would effect hits ibn a certain way, I would think they more sort of cancel out eg 10 attack vs 5 defence would cancel out to 5 attack against 0 defence eg2 5 attack vs 10 defence would cancel to 0 attack vs 5 defence eg3 10 attack vs 10 defence cancels to 0 attack vs 0 defence then say 1 defence or attack lvl gave 1% more probablity to their purposeful outcome, the canceling out would create the overall probablity for the battle so to use my examples again 10% increase on probablity on hitting vs 5% increase on probablity of avoiding hit There fore the 5% defence, knocks out 5% attack creating the 5% - 0% of my above example With this version higher lvls would achieve better as they would still have increase left after canceling out their opponent and if people are even match (aka lvl 10 attack vs lvl 10 def) it would come purely down to hp and item bonuses Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue
March 25, 200620 yr Author Yes I was thinking of this to, that the direct difference and not the factor between attack and defence playes a role. maybe some mod who knows these numbers can confirm this?
