Trust me, jungle is a lot worse, it has way higher humidity.

I'd prefer to be wet and see everything green than dying dried up surrounded by burning sands, but whatever...

Usually jungles are just a little cooler temperature wise, but the humidity makes it feel like 50 degres (F) hotter.

Near the ruins of Uzer, there is a small patch of green with tropical trees and flowers.

One of them being orchids. When examined, it says that they are only found in jungle regions. Last time I checked Al karid wasn't in the jungle..

thats because your sweat cannot evaporate...

personally, i'd prefer icey regions of siberia over the desert, and the desert over a jungle...

because you mainly need to factor in any animal life :P (buuuuuuuugs!

Deserts are a tropical area

They may not have the lush plants of the typical jungle tropic, but it is still a tropical area

LOL!

Tropical = warm and lots of rainfall

Desert = Hot and VERY dry, little rainfall.

Tropical refers the property of being between the two tropics, the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn in the northern and southern hemispheres respectivly. This technically covers everything in the region from the sandy deserts of africa and the americas to the lush humid areas to the mountains of south america.

(of course this pedantry is pointless if you are using the K̮̦̉̉ppen climate classification definition of tropical which only describes the non arid areas)

Desert refers to an area which recieves minial rainfall in in a year so a desert doesn't have to be hot, areas of siberia are desert as is the south pole.

*sigh* Why did we have to turn this topic serious? It was supposed to just be funny...
