April 16, 200620 yr My 60+ dry run was broken yesterday buy a dharock platebody. Woot. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.
April 16, 200620 yr well ive been lucky with barrows the past week. first i got a d med one day b4 my b-day. Then the day of my b-day or afta, i cant remember, i got a guthans plate body. Now the only thing i hate bout barrows is that, i use 5 prayer pots at lv 57 prayer. As for my friend xxru1n3dxx, he uses 2 at the most. hes level 60 prayer btw. ( We bring the holy wrench to help prayer btw) Although my luck has been great, im gonna train my prayer up, and my range to kill ahrims faster, and mage up a little to kill the brothers faster lifeguard200 Dont kill karil, his items are rubbish anyway, if you dont kill karils and you take the right gear you can kill the other 5 brothers with nothing but lobs, no prayer pot needed. Kill dharok with prayer, kill verac with your remaining prayer, then go gunthan and torag, switch to range gear and kill ahrim. I never take prayer pots to barrows, My current drops are, full gunthans with 2 helms, full veracs with 2 skirts and flails, dharoks legs and great axe, torags helm plate and hammers, ahrims top. Cost to me... 0 gp, i make a profit on the deaths bloods and minds i get from the runs.

I started going the other day and was having rubbish luck but 1 go later i had a dharoks pl8. the next trip i got a dharoks legs, the trip after that i got a karils xbow, the go after that i got veracs brassard then to finish the day off i got a guthans spear just as i logged off. April 16, 200620 yr Yet i've been 100+ times, and all I've ever gotten is runes (usually just about the amount that i've used doing the darn thing), and an ahrims robetop on trip number 43.. ARGHH! :D say you might want to rethink whatever your kill count is...It really does matter...I get like a 10 kill now...and I get drops nicely!

April 17, 200620 yr Now you can try 120 barrow runs, 20 hours of non stop fighting in that freakin HOLE, and not getting anything but KARILS COIF. Trust me, in the end you'll be bitter and angry, annoyed and suicidal (or murderous). 20 hours of runecrafting would have gotten you 8 million, at least, but instead you made nothing more than 50k. April 18, 200620 yr Got a Guthan Warspear as my first barrows drop. Got it around the 25th run or so, and i got kill count to 15 each time. Even if you dont get any barrows items you can still make profit from the runes and racks. I average 80 bloods, 200 or so minds, 150 or somethin chaos, and around 100 bolt racks each time, pays for pots and my runes with around 20k leftover for me :lol: And you should be slapped if you tried to melee the barrows brothers unless u have like 95 attack and veracs :roll: ~~Proud Member of The Supreme Skillers~~

April 19, 200620 yr Author yes i have to say u would definetly have to be a moron to try with melee, as far as a good cmb lvl is concerned 75 is proly good but the skellies in the tunnel might hit u kinda a lot, just u gotta have 43+ prayer access to p pots and a mage lvl high enough to at least do fire bolt, thats what i use and it does great. As to the one post saying we r unlucky we have also gotten karils body, t hammers t helm and guthans helm. AND to top it all we have done a total of runs lesss then 40 so thereeeeeeeeeeeee plus lol the 4+ mil we made that night. I just now wanna get 55 slayer i mean i should have it already but i did not train slayer until recently. So keep posting maybe we can turn this into a best barrows reward thread.....BY the way does ne one know how to take screen pics and upload them on mac's????? if so pm me with detailed instructions im not very fancy about the way i use computers or very informed lol.
