The thing where he read the book is true.

 

what he did was, he made you follow him. Then he click a location in the wiklderness and clicks the book multiple times. It somehow causes you to moonwalk to where he clicked... then he will go to he place you are.

 

 

 

However the kill... I can't find an explantion for that... It's possible as internet games aren't stable so glitches and hacks can occur.

when you were out in the wildy, his friend probably locked onto you, then as you followed him away, his friend clicked to attack you. your options are probably set to auto-retaliate, so you then ran into the wildy to attack his friend. when you did so, his friend attacked you with this barrage spell and killed you... that's what i think ahppened anyway.

Why would anyone be so stupid in the 1st place to go into wildy to trade! Ever heard of Pkers? Ever heard of scammers? Ever heard of pures( especially in magic)? ... no? Also my money would have been on "Lure" spell but than u said that he anciented you.

 

Why would u be so naiive to follow him back? :roll:

you keep your most expensive items, but each GP acts as an item, so if you only have money on you, you will keep 3gp, same goes for runes.

 

As far as the scam, who cares how he did it.. If someone wants to trade you in edgeville, tell them to meet you in varrock. If they wont, tell them to go scam someone else, simple. Now you know, unfortunetly it cost you alot to learn, but you wont be making that mistake anymore eh?

you got moved by the new trick by telling someome to follow you than you click somewhere on the minimap and than you read a book from the old mans house 15 times than you move somewhere :? im suprised you didnt know that im only lv 44 and i do that.

The only thing I can guess that happened is bug abuse on the part of the scammer. I really can't imagine how else all those crazy things would have happened which resulted in your death. It was partly your fault for going to Edge to make such a large trade. If somebody requests I make a trade, I make sure it's at least a 1 minute walk away from the wildy - Falador or Seers or Varrock, in fact almost anywhere but Edge :wink:

It wasnt lag. He ran into the wildi but before he got there, he alched something which sends the otehr person flying into the wildi but the person thats alching doesnt go in until he is done alching.

the glitch is the same as the easter egg glitch, click a book a lot then the ring and you go flying as an egg. It does this because when you attempt to read a book you stop, but the game thinks your still walking, which is why u went into the wildy. You said you went through the wildy to meet him? The wildy sign doesn't appear if you go through the wildy once when you were logged in. That answer you questions?

next time if u get attacked, DROP ur cash and all items. Get killed...... respawn in fally AND GLORY TO EDGE and runnnnnnnnnnn to the place and telegrab ur cash out of wildy! :o

Maybe you were in level 1 Wilderness, your auto-retaliate was on, he used a secondary account to attack you then run deeper into the Wilderness, luring you to your death?
