He said meet him by edge. i giot there, and asked where he was. he said to meet him by the canoe. i went there, and he checke di had the muny on me. (im lvl 78, and he was 64) i wasnt too worried about the wildy, i could beat him easily, ormsoi thought, and he would have to make me go a lnog way out. anyway, he said ok, and told me to foolow him to the bank. i followed, then he did sumfing (my friend says she saw it dun before on sum1 else, she thinks ith a book) and it made me run unvolantarily into the wildy. the wildy warning box didnt come up. I cant have been further than lvl 2 wilsy. BTW, he stayed outside of wildy. Then, he started ancient magicking me! He hit me with a 22, it was an ice speel. i died and lost my stuff.

 

 

 

I want to know: how he made me run off in front of him, and how no wildy warning came up.

 

 

 

and also, how did someone 14 lvls below me fight me form outside wildy, and when i was only in lvl 2?!?!

no, i certainly didnt click the wildy, and he knew what was happening. he deleted me from friends straicht away. and why would me kkill me if he wasnt expecting it?

if i can read your spelling, i think they probably read a book causing their character to appear like hes still standing still, but he's really running north to wildy and since you followed him you got lured there, and probably his lvl 70ish friend logged in and ice barraged you

This dude's lying, or misread the lvls. You can lag into wildy, but not die by someone lower than you. Ethier that, or his friend killed you.

It's a commen lure. You probably don't know it but you followed this guy into the wildy then someone else barriaged you. :roll:

its a trick.. when u are @ the trade screen.. tat player juz lead u away by clicking out..

His friend was probably standing under him, they piled.

If he asked you to follow him he likely clicked as far as he could into the wildy, clicked on a book (could be from old man in draynor) about 10 times and you automatically follow to the spot he clicked. The horses dont do that anymore but books will.

I'm just a f2p so please don't mock me if this sounds stupid... my theory:

 

 

 

You know if you are attacking or following someone and he/she teles. You start running towards the place he/she teled to.

 

 

 

So first this scammer gets you to wildy for getting rid of the warning screen, then asks you to follow to bank. On the way scammer teles to wildy (members can do this, right?) so you will start running there. No warning screen since you already visited wildy. Scammers friend (cb lvl close to you) is waiting for kill.

He could have traded you and clicked far into the wilderness. Causing you follow him out there.

 

 

 

When he asked to meet by the canoes and not inside the bank.. Didn't that seem a bit odd?
