Ok I'm in the dule arna and I see a lvl 3 saying "staking 500k any lvl" I was knew something was up so I challenge him looking out for some kind of scam. He says that I am a bit to high of a lvl and he wants me to stake 1mill. I cant see how a lvl 3 could beat a lvl 85 with full vearcs. He also said he wanted food on he traded me and showed me that he had a full invintory of shrimp. I say that I am geting more cash, but I go and get some shark just in case. I walk back and he challenges me, I right click to challenge him and nothing hapons so I look in a around and see a lvl 70 with almost the same name as the lvl 3. I end up staking the lvl 70, who had a full invitory of shark, if I hadnt gone to get shark I would have died, but i ended up killing him and taking the 500k.

I have a question.. I've rarely used the duel arena. Once the duel starts are you able to change armour with what you have in your inventory? Say I was wielding my whip but get snare'd, could I pull out a bow and start ranging him? or switch from metal to hides or whatnot

I've been told about this scam.

 

A lvl 3 puts up 1mill and wais for u to do the same.

 

Then he closes the screen and a lvl XXX with the same name o and 0 or _ and ___ to make it hard to see the difference challenges you.

 

Now if u click on the text in ur chatbox u are surely about to lose 1mill.

 

But if u just right click on the person to challenge him u will see the difference in lvl and laugh in his face like my friend did :)

Ya unless some one has turned off the item like you can turn off range or prayer or pots. But you have to set the rules before the dule.

You can switch as long as you don't set rules against it. Such as "No Range" or "no Mage".

You can still use ranging armour if no range is on, you just cant attack with range.
