The_Avatar
I am so unbelievably tired of hearing post about karma. ever since leestars made that post now theres like 90000000billion post saying how because of karma they got banned or they got helped after helping others. yes weve all heard the stories I swear the tip.it forums are all starting to sound like day time television. Suggestion: If they bug you and the TITLE SAYS "KARMA" then DON'T READ THEM YOU IDIOT!!! My god, it's not like he tricked or forced you into reading it. Boohoohoo you don't like what you read so you try making an innocent person feel like an idiot because you don't like their story. The story is FAR from flawed and you flame him because of ONE FREAKING WORD!!! Do you have any idea how incredibly stupid that is? Did you know that the word karma wasn't coined by Leesters? Use the search button and you will find TONS of posts well before Leesters'. That is proof enough that "karma" isn't a new topic. also that isnt really much of karma its just knowing that he was a bad person and not helping him. Do you even know what the word karma means? Here is an assist: Karma- n - The belief that if one does good or spiritually valuable acts, one deserves and can expect good luck; conversely, if one does harmful things, one can expect bad luck or unfortunate happenings. In his example the guy acted malignantly and got the same in return... how is that NOT karma?!?!? You should really think before you expose your pea-sized brain with drivel such as this. On-topic- Great story and I would have done the EXACT same thing. Feel proud that you acted in an adult manner when you died then got a little vengence when another did not. Good job. uh ok you read the definition spirtitually idiot karma is believed to be a force of nature like a yin and yang type of thing not that persons a jerk screw him. also about not reading these what else is there to read these days everything has to do with karma now EVERYTHING. give it a rest I mean honestly isnt there anything else to talk about. RAHK
Can I just ask everyone, why do you beleive in karma? I think it's a load of crap, what proof is their of it other than stories? What proof is there of ANYTHING in religions/superstitions/placebos/etc.? Most religions are based off of people's accounts of things that happened or didn't. And I think that the biggest reason people believe in the pop-form of karma is because that is how they WANT reality to be. They WANT the bad to be punished and the good to be rewarded. Way to go, NeXile - I loved your post!! It's great to hear about a jerk getting what he deserved. I agree with RAHK that belief in karma stems from our desire to believe that the universe is just or fair. We feel that someone who does evil should suffer, and those who do good should be rewarded. Unfortunately, the universe doesn't always work like that, so we savor the brief passing moment when it does. :P it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*. bobbles
It amazes me to see people posting on a topic only to complain about the topic. I think some of you just find topics you can complain about and only post to cut someone down. If you don't care or have anything nice to add, then leave the post simple as that. I thought the story was interesting and glad he got back what he gave which was nothing. It would be nice if people respected each other more, but maybe things like this happening to them might make them think a little more before being acting the way they do. I've gave things back people died and lost, but on this game I know better than get my hopes up that they would treat me the same.
