It was a great day to play runescape

 

I became member again and just couldt wait to play pest control.

 

I get out my whip and obby shield with my rune armor and start playing.

 

Then my friend pm if I wanna go do some cw..

 

 

 

Hey im always in for some castlewars sow I get out a duel rung and tele.

 

Arrived at the waiting room i saw my trusty friend..

 

I dont know him irl but hes just great.

 

 

 

We met 2 months ago and we were friends ever since

 

he was rich I wasnt But that doesnt realy mather if you are friends

 

We always had great fun playing cw or slaying some Metal dragons.

 

He even lent me his guthan or Dharoks if he was in a good mood.

 

Now thats something for some1 who has 30k whip obby shield and some rune..

 

Still I didnt steal it. just gave it back.I mean a good friend is worth way more then 12 mil runescape pixel money

 

 

 

oke back to the castle war part.

 

 

 

When I arrived he asked if he could barrow my whip and obby shield.

 

cause he didnt have those but he wanted to *own* in castle wars.

 

He gave me his Dragon 2 hander and his guthan

 

and we start playing.

 

lots of people run from me when I was in that armor sow I putted my rune back on with a dragon scimi and gave his guthan and 2 hander back

 

 

 

then he says..I need to putmy private chat off cause some people are bugging me..

 

I didnt care sow he puts it off..

 

after the game was over I didnt see him.

 

sow I start fishing and waiting for him to get back on.

 

 

 

3 hours later he logs on and says he still haves my obby shield and whip

 

I say i'll come to your world sow you can give it

 

then he says no im in a thunder storm sow he logs.

 

 

 

now 2 days later I still dont have my stuff back.

 

+ lost the rest of my stuff at pest control thans to chickin

 

Sow I wanted my whip back bad..but he just doesnt log on

 

 

 

sow I log on to my pure add him and hes on.

 

I get back to my main and hes off..

 

Sow he ignored me :?

 

I get back to my pure and start talking

 

but he said I can go **** myself and logs.

 

 

 

now I lost all my stuff ..it kinda sucks..

 

But just a general warning..

 

Never trust any1 you dont know irl.

Shouldn't have given him his stuff back til he gave you yours. You should have traded his stuff for yours. Well all I can say is that it is sad but its your fault. You trusted someone in Runescape. Thats a big mistake.

It seems like you can never trust anyone anymore now a days. It's a good piece of advice that has been spoken thousands of times by both players and jagex. Sorry about your stuff but your stats seem good enough to earn it back.

That sucks, I would of kept the armor he gave you.

yeah, i had a friend i ment in the game, i think i was mining gold ores once, and he asked if i buy gold ores,

 

i said yes, ill trade 2 blood rune for 1 gold ore..

 

 

 

so every couple of days he has like 150 gold ores,

 

 

 

Skips a few months to the other day

 

 

 

and then randomly he asked if i have a whip

 

 

 

i reply with a yes

 

 

 

and then he says he bet his friend that he could kill a level 100+

 

 

 

so we head out to wil him weilding a rune long, he was trying to buy a DDS and then randomly he drops 4 noted mystic robe tops i was hoping it was 3 because i didnt bring a hilgh alc spell so i quickly dropped the notes

 

 

 

i meet him back at varrock bank, and he asked "if he can have those" and i said i dropped them, which i really did

 

 

 

well anyways after that i totally revamped my friends list so now it doesnt even have a scroll bar, so its only got 11 people on it

i'll add, that he took my hp down to 11 hits, then he dropped the notes and then proceeded to kill me little did he know that i dropped the nots.. he teleported straight away, if he was smart he wouldve waited because i didnt drop my whip ??? he now he's down 500k and im off laughing because he expected my to give him mystic tops and i previously said i removed him so, lol quite funny

Ouch... that just plain sucks. I don't know what to say, but I hope you'll meet a better and more trust-worthy friend in the future. :(

only people you can really call friends are people you know in real life, and also me, but there are some rare people you can trust

I am sorry to hear your lost. It seems like something about runescape's bringing out the worst of all the players.

I hate it when people choose pixels over true friendship.

Don't trust anyone. My number one rule with regards to any internet game, be it runescape or anything else, regardless of how "friendly" we become.

Ive lost some odd 30m to scams. 8) I can look back and laugh on it now, but it taught me alot, about who to trust. At the end of the day its still JUST a game. You lost alot but not too much. You should be able to gather ur losses and start over, i suggest runecrafting, fletching, woodcutting, even pking. Or just do some combat training for awhile with the d scimmy? :wink:

A friend asked if he could hold my whip a bit.

He said 'don't you trust me'.

 

I said, 'I don't loan stuff I can't afford to lose out of principle. Nothing personal about it.'

 

Later he got scammed and he needed a weapon. I don't know of course if he really got scammed. But I gave him a ddp.

That sucks...but you should have gave him his stuff back at the same time he gave you your stuff back. Did you report him yet?

I had a freind , he was a bit iffy , he lend me his whip and obby... i gave them back in the game. I didnt feel right when i used them and knew they werent mine. Then he asked me if I trusted him enought to give my d-chain to him and i plainly said "No". He didnt take it so well when he herd that reply. If he was my real friend he would have just said "ok".

wow you guys must not have good friends...i have 10+ friends i dont know in real life yet i still lend them my stuff like my whip mystic robes even a few mil so instead of saying "dont trust anyone" i think you guys need to get new friends instead of saying dont trust anyone...because why bother having ppl on your friends list if you dont even trust them :roll:

Yeah, you shouldn't trust people like that. I've had one friend who died in rune and I let him borrow 150k so he could almost get it back.(he died pk'ing with me and I felt bad) Then he said he offered 500k on a 50k trade by mistake and wanted to borrow 250k this time. I said sorry man, but I can't do that right now. I haven't seen him online since. I don't know if this is because he lost his money or I didn't give him mine.
