Mage bonus doesn't far as I see, I used to barrow in full spilt with +66 mage att. now I barrow in what's seen on page one with +98 mage att..

Been slaying alittle for fun.. had 15 bronze drags last night..

 

I'd never been there before, so I said what the heck.. only managed to kill like 5 per run >_< what a noob I am.

 

 

 

Got like 150 basilisks now..

 

I really shouldn't be meleeing them, I just know I'm gonna get a lvl somewhere, and I hate that..

i suggest getting mystic, as it has a better mage atk bonus, and as ure praying against the guys defence doesn't matter. also make ure log in an excel spreadsheet, its alot better, like this:

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ya Mage bonus doesn't matter for slayer dart, so i suggest Initiate or Monk's robes as prayer bonus is very key and you will die eventualy so avoid taking your best items there unless you wanna make some looter rich :wink:

Personaly I have never goten an item from barrows, (just about to do my 61st run) but then again I only use on average 1 prayer pot and 2 sharks. So its not like im losing money on the deal.

Slayer dart and mage bonus has been debated over and over!!

 

 

 

Doesn't seem to be effected at barrows due to low mage bonus. (used to think it wasn't as well)

 

 

 

but you will notice more splashes on karil. (Higher mage protect)

 

 

 

I tested this on Iron Dragons and noted that there was a difference from wearin Full Ahrim vs Full Verac when using dart.

The runes are good to though, I recently sold 2k bloods and 1.5k racks for 1.6mil. All from barrows.

 

 

 

Yeah, I try to keep my combat low, I'm more of a skiller.. if I get a combat lvl I'm angry. :)

Slayed like 160 basks before, finally got my barrows to degrade to 75..

 

pretty boring stuffs..

Pretty ownage for your stats (looky at the sig :)) I was doing air wave at barrows, praying on all the bros when I was your lvl 4 p pots a run :-w Now, with ancients (which you should get, makes it fun) I use 0-2 doses :)

Yeah, I use max two ppots a run.. normally.

 

I do have ancients, have had since 75cmb

 

(as you can see by my barrows gloves on page one)

 

I don't ancient there cause:

 

1. I don't have normal mage book, I hate changing it, I farm and such.

 

2. I sell the bloods. good cash there.

Yeah, I've never died..

 

Though last night I cut it close <_<

 

Was at 55hp, had two monks left(Ahrim kept hitting me, mean of him)

 

So was I like.. " Yeah, I'll prolly get owned(goes in tunnels anyway)

 

So, then in Tunnels, Karil spawns(HATE him in tunnels)

 

He hits an 18, I quick drink ppot, he hits 19.. I have like 11hp left.

 

Sure I'm gonna die, somehow I manage to get prayer on and eat my two remaining monks..

 

 

 

I made it out alive >_<

 

Closest I've come to dying.
