I have been working on a thesis about the wilderness, and I have finally completed it.

 

I hope you really really get something out of it.

 

I want it to positively influence the Runescape world, and change the wya people see the wilderness.

 

 

 

I know it is very very long.

 

Not to be read in a single go, but if you have the time now, go ahead and read the introduction.

 

There's a lot of great material, but for the more advanced clan members, you'll probably know more than I do so please forgive my simplicity.

 

 

 

Anyone who reads the whole thing, I offer my congratulations.

I didn't like the format though. The large gaps provided distraction. I recommend a tighter grouping on the paragraphs.

Very nicely written. It had some great information and picked apart the wilderness quite well. I enjoyed reading it and I hope you write some more things like this for other topics.

Very good, i learned a lot of things i didn't really know before and this should help with a lot of questions people have like "Whys so good about the wild?" or "why pk"? etc.

 

 

 

The only gripe was with the format as stated above, the white on black background may hurt some eyes if you stare at it long enough. Also the spacing is a little too spaced, maybe sqeezing it in a little more could also improve the reading experience as again stated above.

This is your long awaited thesis? I'm not at all impressed. Seemed more like an advert for your clan and for RSC for which it sould be in clan discussion. Nor should tip.it appreciate you advertising RSC as a superior clan community.

 

 

 

Also people of this forum don't trust external links, especially those from a low poster spamming all forums to get attention to his work.

 

 

 

Work on getting your account unbanned for language and advertising websites. Then fix your clan. Then people might read your work if you post it as a post on this forum and not a link.

 

 

 

You can't call your work a great piece of literature. It's up to the community here to appreciate and comment on if it is great or not.

 

 

 

If so, and if you follow the rules, it might be stickied as such. Until then don't call your "thesis" a great anything.

 

 

 

Off topic, yes His Lordship and I have a bad history. I left his clan because he allows character sharing, promotes using shiftswitch, pays for peoples accounts so he can win wars, and was an unfair clan leader my time in it. He was recently perm banned for the second time and may or may not get his account back for a third time.

 

 

 

That doesn't cloud my opinion of his work though, he has been promising it to the RSC clan community for as long as I knew him and I can't say it was worth the wait.

I'm not impressed at all. You made it seem godly compared to what it is. Work on it more I guess.. good luck?

PS the RSC biase is a little difficult to accept, and you might also wanna put a better format to this article. Maybe split it up into several webpages with a link frame on the side.

My eyes kept falling out when I tried to read it, so I stopped.

here's my praise: very good analysis, if superficial at times. It also provided interesting theories, and opened up the clan side of pking for me, somethign which i have never experienced.

 

 

 

Here's my problems with it: The language was extravagant to the verge of pomposity, and you failed to enforce most of your arguments with proof or evidence.

 

 

 

HOWEVER: overall very intresting, very worth while, and i recomend everyone should read it.

I don't know much about writing anything much, but from my stand point, that was very well written! (Kewl 3d art too)

 

It said a lot of things a regular person probably wouldn't think about.

It's an ok guide to pk'ing. Unfortunatly the spaces in-between are distracting and "honor" in the wilderness concept is trash.

 

 

 

Not enough pictoral referances but for the most part it's not too bad. Unfortunatly your guide get's owned by the Runescape knowledge base.
