____
Ugh, don't use BETA software from Windows. Especially IE. I don't care how many "security" fixes they claim to have made for it.

Hannibal
I've used IE7. I'm a Firefox fan, I'll admit that, so there's no need to take anything I say too serious. However, I wrote some general criticism on http://gijs.codingo.org/blog/2006/02/ie-7/ . Rendering seems to have improved slightly over IE6 but is in general still pretty crap compared to Opera/Firefox/Safari engines.
____
How's the CSS and PNG support though :P And I do laugh at FireFox throwing out a 'this xml document has no styling applied to it' msg for RSS feeds :P Manually adding ftl. Maybe you can make an extension for it?
Hannibal
How's the CSS and PNG support though :P And I do laugh at FireFox throwing out a 'this xml document has no styling applied to it' msg for RSS feeds :P Manually adding ftl. Maybe you can make an extension for it? There are dozens already, and they actually tried adding it in time for Firefox 1.5 but failed because there were too many problems with it (memory leaks and whatnot - they tried integrating an existing extension). Either way, it will be in Firefox 2 (Ben Goodger just blogged about it). Transparent PNG support mostly works. It's not entirely up to the level of some other browsers, I think, but it's better than IE6 and should handle your average transparent PNG's okay. They fixed some css bugs, but by far not all of them.
Hitman247m
I wouldnt download the BETA for regular use, there are tons of security holes still. I use firefox, it owns...
concuto789
Lol why did erevy1 suddenly turns traitor to Internet Explorer? It used to be one of the most popular browser...until the "others" catched up..... Im faithful to IE, hehe but only for Runescape/other website not compatible to Firefox (GO Firefox!), yup.....but it will be off my Start Menu after JAGeX make runescape Firefox-usable with music.... And Webmasters need to make their website Firefox-compatible!
Mercifull
People stopped being faithfull to IE years ago, its onyl really in the last year with Firefox that its really started taking massive losses. Its probably mainly to so with all the spyware and phishing scams affecting IE users driving people to a better choice Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. Jain_Charin
i use ie6/ opera mostly i have used firefox but the memory leaking lags my comp up i usually have like 20,000-35,000k with ie for every browser open and in firefox i have 60,000+k for every tab open in firefox and opera is a bit higher than ie per tab i know theres ways to fix the memory prob with firefox but i cant really see it being better than opera or even ie for that matter
Gwarfon
People - just think for a minute, OK? IE 7 is a BETA. It's from Microsoft. 'nuff said.
Higothrekk
Yes it's probably just the new browser has a new way of handling it, so it looks different, no need to become a procrastinating idiot constantly whining about IE and beating off to firefox, which incidentally leaks memory worse than using a colander to carry water.
