Freshwacka
Is it possible to have the compass's lines straight. I did it once while doing Regicide, but I always try to get the compass straight and I never can. 99 Crafting Blog

Jimmyd17
Isn't it like that do mess up autoers or something? I remember hearing that somewhere. And well who doesn't try it? It's an addicting little do-dig that not many people recall doing. I try it alot, but I don't think I've been lucky enough to get it straight

henk333
What's even more frustrating is trying to get your compass lines straight, your minimap straight AND your view straight all at the same time. I also heard somewhere that the camera angle is pushed left or right every so often to throw of autoers and/or autoclickers (for alching/teleing). That it happens is pretty easy to prove, just go do something like alching where your view doesn't move for a time and after a while you'll see that it moved to the right or left. I think that your minimap/compass is 'reset' when you go to a new area by either teleing, going up or down a ladder or entering a portal/altar. So I usually set my view straight before doing something like that so that my minimap and compass line up after the area has loaded. Haven't played RuneScape since 12 january 2007 and it feels great :)
Stallion4589
i wanna know: why arent the compass and minimap aligned? in jagex's map, north should be directly up the map, yet north is clear offset in comparison to what should be an apparent north. so, why is north not north?
