FIrst time I tried to melee it with DDS, ran away at like 5 hp. Second time I tried to mage it with earth wave, and died. Stupid ring of life didn't work. Any ideas on killing? NETTY Posted May 4, 2006 Share Posted May 4, 2006 Best melee armour you can get, whip/dds (I used dds), and protect from magic. Bring a few lobs if you're a lower level, but with dds spec I had it down to 1/4 health.. The melee armour is for when it does use melee on you.. For the most part it attacked me with mage, but it did hit for a few good'uns. I think its max hit is like a 13, so keep your HP over 25-30 to be safe. I did the quest within the first 45 minutes of its release, before any guides were made and before anyone could tell anyone really what the level 170 even WAS. I took black d hide and my whip through the whole quest, since it has the best "all around" defense that would prepare me for anything. I killed her. NO prayer. NO food. And she didn't hit me once. A freaking Dragon Cane with a Dragonstone gem.The spec will simply your character equiping a glove and beachslapping the enemy, who will break down and do the Cry emote for 10 seconds straight. I used drag scim, no pots, rune armour, no food, 1 drag scim spec, and protect from mage. Finished fight with 48 prayer left out of 66 and 67 hp left out of 93. I thought it was pretty easy. As long as my anti-magic prayer lasted, she was barly hitting (1 or 2 damage once a while). But my prayer ran-out *very* fast - im 57 prayer, and it ran out as fast as in the barrow tunnels (yes, i had full prayer when the fight started) then her magic damaged me 18 and 20 very often - I had to waste like 5 pineapple pizza to take her down.
