shouldnt you pick lvl 99?

Featured Replies

lol, this is so pointless but i thought i might as well point it out:

Shouldnt ur goal for a main account be 99 everything?

and 99 str and attk and hp for a str pure?

ETC.

Pretty much im saying, for a goal, wouldnt you say ur goal is lvl 99 everytime???

I guess on a main, the ultimate goal would be 99 in a skill. Pures however tend to keep certain stats, primarily defense, at lower levels so the "perfect" (ideal) level can be around 40 or 50 or even 1.

This is for ratings, not questions. And in the future, refer to your signature before making threads such as this.

Whats the point of getting level 99 in everything if thats not what you need? If you only need 85 magic for teleblock then why would you get 99 if 85 is all you need? Most people don't have the time or the money to get 99 in many skills let alone all of them.

You forget that (V)agic ownz all!

Back on topic, 99 stats is only for people who like training skills. I like to do exciting things in Runescape (if there is such a thing) like DK's, Barrows, etc. Not everyone likes to waste their lives playing 10-12 hours a day living with their parents out of college in their basement. You'd have to love skills, devote all your time to skills, and have a LOT of free time to do that  .

Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.

You are right, 99 everything can be considered the ultimate goal, along with huge amounts of money =D.

HOWEVER, most people set realistic goals, which are considered achievable. Also, people set goals which won't take years to complete. Just getting 1 skill to lvl 99 is considered a great achievement.

Also, not everyone plays the game to get 99 skills, the game is primarily for FUN, not for goals.

Dont forget, Higher mage level means higher chance of success of YOUR spells and higher chances of failure from your OPPONENTS spells, as well as that, the highest level ancient magick, namely Ice Barrage, need lv 94 mage.

thanks to mitsubishi64 who made this sig

to me, the only skills that 99 really makes sense to get is in strength, range, prayer and smithing. i dont care about theiving and firemaking at all. i like high agility for the energy restoration, i suppose hp for maximum damage survival, all other skills max out before they get to 99, so 99 in those are pretty pointless except for bragging rights or whatever

Actually, there is a teleport spell that requires level 96. Can't remember where it takes you, maybe ice plateau.

Right, nice generalization there: "everyone with high skills has no education, no job and lives in their parents basement".

FYI you can skill on a 10 hour a WEEK basis, it's a matter of effeciency, which can be fun to some people (myself for example).

I play a little over 1 hour on weekdays. When I log on I make a trip past 3 allotments (port phasmatys, falador, catherby) to plant herbs, flowers and vegetables if I have any. After that I go work on another skill for a while, this could be a slayer task or a non-combat skill, whatever I feel like. When my herbs on the first patch are done I make the same trip past the 3 allotments, harvest and plant new seeds AND THEN I LOG OFF

Don't be so narrowminded to say that everyone with high skills has to have no life and live in their parents basement.

Haven't played RuneScape since 12 january 2007 and it feels great :)

that would be a nice goal, but probably only .01% of all players have the time and patience to get that high. I, for one, have my highest level, mining, at 58. I hope to get it up to 80, and that will be an excellent level to me.
