True. 60s and 70s are much more related to each other than 70s and 80s. 80s are much closer to the 90s, imo. ^The most disturbing signature on Tip.it^Last.fm|HELLY KAYLA!|Oh the mehagurtz!|#Siencemakers"they care less about their spelling mistakes then I." - Lionheart"apinagez... let me

How2PK
Green Grass and High Tides from the debute album of the Outlaws is pretty good. As for favorites, not gonna do that. Black Betty isn't originally by Ram Jam, it's a cover of working song somewhere in the 30's. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore! Cameron1025
I like a lot of music from that time period. As to favorite song, well, I'd have to give that some serious thought, but I like almost all of Rush's and Pink Floyd's music as well as many others in that time. Couldn't have said it better myself... The 60's, 70's, and 80's were the times when I think the best music came out. I prefer the 60's and 70's to the 80's but there were still good songs from the 80's. Anyway, I was born in 1992 and I almost only listen to rock from the 60's and 70's. I really love Eleanor Rigby and Hey Jude from The Beatles. From the time period that this topic is about, I would have to name Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin. Oh come on, that's nonsense. Sure, the 60's, 70's and 80's were good, just as the 90's. Every decade has got a few exceptionally good bands/solo artists that stand trough time, we've had them thirty years ago, and we've had them ten years ago. It's not like they didn't make bad music in the period from 1960 till 1989. I don't like that elitist attitude that you guys you've got; naming 10 famous bands from a thirty year period and acting like you're quite the expert. Not saying that I'm one, but this is ridiculous. What do you guys actually know from that period? Apart from Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Queen and the other famous four you had on your list?
