Well a while back Romeo and Juliet quest got remade.

 

 

 

Now it's Restless Ghost's turn. Looks great. The monks got remade, and now instead of a skeleton attacking from nowhere, there's an altar to saradomin down in the wizard's tower. You search it, get the skull, then a skeleton lying in the corner stands up and attacks.

 

 

 

And the cutscene at the end of the quest is cool. The ghost (which now looks like a Port Phasmatys green one) says Freedom! Finally! Turns into the purdy spiral thing, flies fast out the window (the angle zooms in on it and follows it) goes up, says Wheeee, and falls into the lumby river with a splash.

 

 

 

I'm hearing that Plague City got remade too? At least I think the sewer has changed.

You're lucky 'cause the old version was kinda bad. :) Nothing special. Talk to Abbot, go to ghost, woo woo woo, go to swamp monk, ooh look an amulet, talk to ghost, go to wizards tower, pick up skull, ahhh a skeleton, run run run, use skull with the coffin, ghost disappear without anything special, just GONE, and woohoo quest complete.

I think i may have to make a new account just to see these new changes first hand.

I beg to differ, they remade Romeo and Juliet before the game engine got updated. Plus Restless ghost didn't get COMPLETELY redone, unlike Romeo and Juliet who had ALL the dialogue, ALL the locations, ALL the NPCs, ALL the items remade. And a few cutscenes thrown in which was great.

Anyone one also notice that the Fishing contest people look diffirent to. The guy at the gates to the competion is mending a fishing net. Though it's a little old.

I should try doing the quest on my little scout account. :) It's getting dusty. :lol:

im glad to see that they are remaking quest for f2p. so they made the game just as fun for free players. i also like how there redoing the towns, i think that, that is a good update for free. :) i remember doing romeo and juliet quest like 4 years ago. :-P
