June 1, 200620 yr Construction is a skill that takes money but gives us usefulness/entertainment. I had to spend 100k just to get 30 construction... -.- http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=525348 - My Pking Gallery I'M BACK FOR SUMMER BABY
June 1, 200620 yr Construction is a skill that takes money but gives us usefulness/entertainment. I had to spend 100k just to get 30 construction... -.- Ouch that had to hurt. That is why I am not starting till I have the money to give. A reflection is just a distorted reality held by glass and your mind.
June 1, 200620 yr its a bogus skill for rich people  no money to be made and costs loads...no skill should have to be like that (slayer is understandable) Trix.--quit WoW as of 12/07Thank you 4be2jue for the wonderful sig and avatar!
June 1, 200620 yr It's a way to take money out of the economy. Example: 1 Piece of magic glass costs 975k. Fire cape owner since September 25th, 2006.
June 1, 200620 yr great thing about construction is its for fun and finally you can have a party and drop some stuff without ppl who werent invited coming can have who you want there with free beer and some monsters
June 1, 200620 yr I doubt you can make money from construction. The whole point of the skill is that you lose money, not make it. That's the main point to the skill. Sure its exciting now, but once we've all reached level 60 we'll realise there's actually not that much to be done with a house in runescape and we'll all be a couple mil less rich which is exactly what jagex wanted
June 1, 200620 yr Pulling of these kinds of trades help :) I just fear getting a ban for item scamming rofl :) F.Y.I It was orgionally for 80k, but, by the time I got there the dude upped his offering to 100k. The self-proclaimed king of bronze.
June 1, 200620 yr we dont know yet, some of the games or combat things, or the dungeons might have monsters u never know imagine being an 85 slayer with ur own abyssal in the basement
June 1, 200620 yr I'm sure the mounted heads (Abyss Demon, KBD, and KQ at least) and a few of the more better looking items will be able to be sold for a profit. Obviously the prices should be changed a bit... I think its pretty weak to have wealth be the main factor to level up any skill.... but hey... thats the way building a house is in real life. I understand they need a money sink... but why charge people for making the planks? Let the planks be free at least... and let the more unique items (like the ones listed above) suck up all the money. R.I.P Shiva

You should see the stonemasons prices! 325k per marble brick?! 190k per gold leaf?! No thankyou! The self-proclaimed king of bronze.
June 1, 200620 yr im questioning whether we do need a money sink. Since i've started playing a few months ago (after not playing for 6 months) i've made money quickly and easily which I can then use to invest in skills or buy cool items with. The only items which are problematic are party hats but they don't look cool anyway. Apart from the rares market, the economy is pretty stable and very easy to predict (for example, its easy to predict the Dragon axe will drop as more and created into the world)
June 1, 200620 yr It will be a huge money maker when they add pirate ships. You can sail the seas, plundering merchant ships. Argggggggg

Obviously I haven't done anything with the skill to know a lot about the prices of controlled materials. My point was that some of the prices/charges are necessary... while others aren't. Planks are what the beginners would need to start with anyways. So it made for a simple example. R.I.P Shiva

June 1, 200620 yr It will be a huge money maker when they add pirate ships. You can sail the seas, plundering merchant ships. Argggggggg This is EXACTLY what I was thinking. I was especially looking forward to this, seeing as the Cdub is aquatic in nature.

June 1, 200620 yr how do you use flat items? "If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel AdamsMy new site. [bETA]
June 1, 200620 yr how do you use flat items? According to the knowledge database you use the 'flat item' with the corresponding ghostly spot in building mode.
