Did you download anything when/just before the problem began? 4.) Can you pop the keys off or is it some other type of keyboard? 5.) Are you willing to send me a check for $150? wooden_fire Posted June 3, 2006 Share Posted June 3, 2006 have you got windows xp? if you have go to start -> Acessories -> System Tools -> System Restore. Go through the menus about restoring to an earlier date and select a restore point a few days before when you went away and see if that helps. dru89 Posted June 3, 2006 Share Posted June 3, 2006 I was gonna suggest a new keyboard, but seeing as how you already said that wouldn't work I'm gonna go ahead and suggest that you buy a new computer...I mean, bro, your computer sounds pretty messed up if it can't read the space bar :P. Maybe scan it for virii? You may have picked up an interesting little virus there, that you could get checked out. But those are my two suggestions. It shouldn't inherit any settings from Windows, so if it still screws up, it's very deep, maybe the keyboard controller hardware.
