Is it always one letter at a time? no, it's almost always changing the entire word to a different word at level 46 with the safe lock the answer I keep getting doesn't seem to be working =\ it looks like it spells out quitting but that's as far as I can get

When you find one, look through it for homonyms that start with A's and I's. You should find one soon enough. I can give you a hint though: What do walk through at the grocery store? If you can answer that and find it's homonym than you have the answer the the riddle.
