Anyone tried fixing Barrow items yet?

Okay I maybe blind, but im trying to find if you guys have tried fixing your Barrow items in your own workshop and how much did it cost you?

I've only been a recent owner of Barrow Armors and ive never have to fix it through Bob the Axeman in Lumbridge, so i don't know exactly how much it would cost me to fix one.

I'm well aware, however, that fee is based on the continuity of the armor whether its 25% or 100%.

If you have the information please tell us what armor you've fixed and how much it cost you. Thanks.

Well, why don't some volunteers get exact numbers together (with smithing lvls and exact amount of cash it took). With data of 10-20 I can probably do the math to figure it out.

would be annoying to do because ur armour would have to be at 0 or exactly 75/50/25, because if its anywhere inbetween you would have no idea of how much u acctually have used it. People say that at lvl 1 its a little bit cheaper than bob and at lvl 99 its 50% cheaper. So if u have 73 smithing i guess u would save roughly 37%... Really its worth it at whatever smithing lvl u are.

Thanks for the informations.

We now at the very least know that it would save us 25% at level 50 smithing on the Barrow armours.

Thats at least 82,500 gps savings per trip.

Now imma start working on getting higher smithing level

actully you cant really base it on the percentage it says left, because it most liekly is worse damaged then that but from what i understand the formula to find out how much it costs to repair it yourself is .05XR

where X is your smithing levle and R is the repair costs it would have cost you, Just use your armour on the armour stand and in the message box it will tell you the normal repair cost and also how much it will take you to fix it yourself ( at 99 you save half) unless your lvl 1 smithing, its better for you to just fix it yourself

Just get a few people to go and click repair on the armour stand and work out the percentage you save with this formula:

Price at armour stand

Normal price(which it tells you) x 100

Easy, then you know the percentage you save at your smithing level. Easy.

If you want to work out what savings you get simply halve your smithing level. For example if you're level 54 smithing you get a 25% reduction off what it would cost for Bob to fix it. Simple.
