Shilo gem rocks --> mine gems and craft them.

Mining silver --> making tiaras 52.5xp

Cowhides --> tanning Hard leather for hard leather bodys and soft leather for coifs (lvl 38)

You can also make glass, but that isn't quite as fast as cowhides.

Also, to go to lvl 63 WILL! definitly cost you a bucket of money or/and a hell load of time

Well good luck, as crafting can be very fun aswell

O ye.. i almost forgot the best Members Crafting way:

Flax --> Bowstrings.. it even gives great profit.. Did I say great, I mean GREAT! .. think it will cost you 1-2 weeks till you are lvl 63.. Not more by spinning.

flax---. bowstrings, definetly.

follow these steps:

if you have 100k, buy 1k flax. if you dont have 100k pick it yourself (located at gnome stronghold or seer village)once you have 1000 flax, go to seers village bank and get out 28 flax. go south and u willsee a building with a quest symbol on it, go on more bilding south, go up the ladder. when up the ladder, there will be a spinning wheel in the room. click on it. you will get 3 options (wool, flax, or magic roots), right click flax and then click spin "X" flax. after, you will have to type "28" . it will automatically spin all of your flax. when done, head down the ladder, and back to the bank, reapet till all of your flax is gone and you should have 1000 bowstrings. sell all the bowstrings from 120-180 GP each.

after selling, use that money to buy another 1k flax. reapeat until you have succesfully made it to 63 crafting, CONGRATULATIONS!!!

wow, out of all of you...none have actually listed the true power crafting...(i'm guessing you read my thread :o )..You need to have done shades of mort'ton first off, and in aid of the myreque is also an advantage. (note this is not for shade burning as well, just for crafting exp)

Step One: Go to canifis bank via ectophial (must be on world 2)

Step Two: Prepare Inventory...which is ectophial, 25k+ (depending on how long you want to stay), Flamtaer Hammer (A MUST!) Food if loar shades are agressive towards you still. Since you have no intention of fighting unless loars are agressive, have lightwait things equipped.

Step 3: Use in Search of Myreque shortcut or head through morytania swamp to mort'ton.

Step 4: Go to razmire builders store and purchace lots and lots of swamp past, and a half inventory full of Timber Beams and Limestone Bricks.

Step 5: Go to the temple and start reinforcing. NOTE: The temple collapses pretty much every hour, so you'll have to select the repair option to build it back up. Note the 2 percentages in the top right hand corner...Temple Repair State and Building Materials. When you start, you want building materials at 40%+...don't worry if it starts at 0 because it increases. Do not worry if all your things in your inventory disappear, its fine.

Step 6: See a chiropractor. For from doing all the bending, you will have a sore back :) (exp ranges from 0-35 depending on crafting lvl)

About Step 4: I think it'd be cheaper to make the swamp paste yourself. Spend some time in Lumbrdige swamps and gather all the swamp tar you can handle and run back to Draynor and do that for a while. Then go to the Mansion which you completed Mystery Madness and use their never-ending sack of flour with a pot and then make the swamp paste to your hearts desire. I don't know if you get experience for it, but the Swamp Paste prices at the Building shop skyrocket after you buy just a few.

About Step 5:Really? It actually crumbles just because an hour has passed? That would make more sense because as I've been doing it for a while it seemed like it would rapidly go down at some point in time. Thanks for the tip :)

On-Topic: Yes, Shades of Mor'Ton is true EXTREME crafting xp but it is expensive, but you can reduce your loses by actually going and burning shades. Make sure that you've done In Aid of the Myreque if you're going to do that (going through the shortcut is so tedious for a bank trip).

I'd rather spend time making nature runes to buy the stuff from the shop than going and making it myself. I'd even get more money.

Crafting by long time is no more a profitable skill. And shades of morton allows to level up at low cost.

In any case, if you use the time building the altar to make also sacred oil, the reward is awesome.

In the chests you will also find a lot of swamp paste, that will allow you to continue to make oil later at really low cost.

I burn fiyr shades, using magic logs. Even if you don't consider the 100xp prayer xp each fiyr gives, from the pyres you get both money both keys.

Last round i burnt 390 shades, and i got 265.560gp plus the keys. In the tombs i hi halc all lesser items so i can collect some shades to burn next round. this is the log of those 390:

19 purple---58.350gp - 14 yews - 1 diamond ring - 38 death - 79 swamp paste

29 black----87.503gp - 8 yew - 7 magic -5 F.C. (fine cloth) -1 power ammy - 225 swamp paste

52 brown---120.380gp - 9 yew - 1 battlestaff - 51 Death - 34 blood - 7 F.C. - 324 Swanp - 1 Diamond ring- 1 power ammy - 1 Rune Shimmy - 1 Clue Scroll (Blue Chaps (g), Zammy Page, Rune dagger, Magic Shor bow)

58 red---140.337 - 44 Blood - 2 rune shimmy - 1 rune chain - 5 F.C, 56 Death 416 swamp paste - 3 Diamond ring - 2 Power Ammy - Clue Scroll (Rune plate, Rune Hatchet, 30 Blood, Rune dagger)

166 Crison - 422.942gp - 200 deaths - 80 Bloods - 8 Power Ammy - 1 Rune Shimmy - 21 F.C. - 1240 Swamp Paste - 2 Rune Chain - 3 Diamond ring - 13 Magic - 3 battlestaff - Clue Scroll (2 Rune Plate, 1 helm, 15 sharks, 1 rune skirt (t), rune dagger)

Those seem like awesome rewards for (70? 75?) firemaking. Makes me interested, anyway ;)

I don't really understand the burning shades part  How does that work?

And how much xp an hour can you get an hour there for crafting?

You can find more info on it in the Mini-Games guide on Tip.it.

But for now here's what you do. Complete In Search of the Myreque and Shades of Mor'ton quests. Find a world with active users (I'm trying to make World 59 the new place to be for the shades) and then aid in building the temple or killing shades. You get experience in Crafting by building the temple and you get combat experience by killing shades (killed just like normal monsters). Both ways you receive "Sanctity" which allows you to create "sacred oil" the oil is made by using olive oil on the holy flame which is in the temple that you defend/repair. The sacred oil is used to "annoint" (that's what I call it, I'm not sure if they're really that) logs in which you burn shades. You burn shades on funeral pyres in the town of Mor'ton. They will produce keys in which you use to go into their "lair" and kill more shades and burn more of them and get more keys to open up chests that contain treasure. Refer to the mini-game guide to see what they contain.

do royal trouble, and invest about 1.8mil

on average, after about 13 days, you should have 14k flax? i think? and you won't have used up close to as much as is in the chest.

spin all them into bowstrings, then sell the bowstrings. should make over 2 mil....

Shilo gem rocks. best way. take a chisel with you, and drop opals, jade, and topaz. Run the real gems back to your bank to craft later. Once you get to 57, make dragonhide VAMS. as long as you kill your own dragons or buy them for about 1.1k and craft your own nats you make money. 1500 per vam (high alching). I make my own nats and kill my own dragons usually, so i make a full 1500 per vam. I can make about 100k in a couple hours this way.

Chaps and bodys alch for less in relation to the number of hides in them, so stick with vams.

shilo gem rocks...not very good. Always competition there, usually get bad gems and can fail cutting them...takes about an hour to get a full load when you can much more exp other ways. Green Vamps is a horrible way of crafting in my opinion. If you do what you do, its not a good crafting method, but money making method. Note the name of the thread "POWER CRAFTING" meaning that you can do it really quickly and gives lots of exp. This however takes tons of time and you can get more exp elsewhere.
