June 16, 200620 yr So it can be looked like it hasn't been opened at a glimpse, or resealed or whatever. Yup, that is all I need to know, if you must know why it is for my report card. So I can know what I have before my parents find out they were sent and snatch it from me...
June 16, 200620 yr If the letter the report card is sent in is adressed to your parents, then you break the law by opening it... With that being set, use steam. June 16, 200620 yr Author Steam, but I'm just posting this to say how much your sig rocks Zeek  Thanks  SO how exactly do I open it with steam? Do I just let the steam go into it, and open it slowly with my finger? Or is there something more to it? I really do not want to mess it up... 8-[

June 17, 200620 yr Steam should work. :P This reminds me of the time my algebra teacher sent letters home to parents to inform us that everyone in the class was failing. I volunteered to check the mail for three weeks until the letter came. :-w
June 17, 200620 yr Just open it, it's YOUR report card after all...Not if it's addressed to his parents. They pay the school fees. Where the bloody hell are you?
June 17, 200620 yr I always found that putting the letter in the freezer for a couple hours, then steaming it worked rather well. ~M
June 17, 200620 yr Why on earth would you try putting a letter in a freezer...? I need to open a letter... I know! Let's freeze it! :-s
June 17, 200620 yr Why on earth would you try putting a letter in a freezer...? I need to open a letter... I know! Let's freeze it! :-s There's no such a brain boost as desperation . ^The most disturbing signature on Tip.it^Last.fm|HELLY KAYLA!|Oh the mehagurtz!|#Siencemakers"they care less about their spelling mistakes then I." - Lionheart"apinagez... let me
June 17, 200620 yr Just open it, it's YOUR report card after all...Not if it's addressed to his parents. They pay the school fees. It cost hardly anything to go to school... Most schools don't send em through the mail, they send em home with the kids.
June 17, 200620 yr Just open it, it's YOUR report card after all...Not if it's addressed to his parents. They pay the school fees. Umm, just outta curiousity... who cares? Somehow I'm just failing to understand the big deal about opening it and then just tossing it to your parents opened. And I'd have to agree. That's a pretty sweet sig.
June 18, 200620 yr Why on earth would you try putting a letter in a freezer...? I need to open a letter... I know! Let's freeze it! :-s There's no such a brain boost as desperation . I use to read anything, and I found out that stamp collectors would put envelops that had stamps that they wanted in the freezer and then steam it. Freezing it weakens the glue a little bit so that it is less work to open it while steaming. ~M
June 18, 200620 yr If you want to look a little less fishy then steam, a sharp exacto knife will work, the glue it back shut.
June 18, 200620 yr Just open it, it's YOUR report card after all...Not if it's addressed to his parents. They pay the school fees. Depends on where he lives/what school he goes to Doctor of Dental Surgery-2014Medical Doctor-2018?Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon-2024?
June 18, 200620 yr Geoff, you know the report cards from Pine we used to get how you had to rip them open? Well, it doesn't work for me because I have to rip mine open to see it. I asked my mom to send it to me, so I could view first. So it's good that I'll be in the next state over if I get a bad grade . I already know what you're going to say if you reply to this. "J00 dno't ge tb4d gr4de5!! J00 gte lkie ai 4.0!!!" Lol. On Topic: Steam is the most effective way to open a 'Glue Sealed' letter. It melts the glue where you can open it, then once you view the mail, shut it, and the glue should harden again. Just open it, it's YOUR report card after all...Not if it's addressed to his parents. They pay the school fees. Depends on where he lives/what school he goes to He goes to a Catholic School. So his parents do pay for it ;) I <3 Gears of War 2.
