are we really that much better than the f2p? the people some of us look down apon? the ones some of us view as "noobs". the fact is i've seen more nice people in f2p than the p2p. yes there are scammers and macros but not as many as we think, actually p2p has more, there is tons of scammers on world 2. not to mention the infamous edgevile scam. in p2p people dont care what combat level you are, only how you act and what you say. in p2p it's all about your combat level, even pest control is limited by combat level. on f2p i normally see 10-20(2 or 3 was a little off) real noobs per day, while on p2p i see 20+, and normally im not near alot of people.many p2p people say that "noob" is defined by combat not how you act.

 

 

 

the definiton of a noob is a person level 3-126 who acts obnoxious, foolish, irritating, scams, macros and calls people noob for no reason. newb on the other hand means some one low lvl(about 3-20) who has no clue what their doing and politely asks questions.common synonmys for noob are, nub, n00b, ch00b, choob, fr00b, froob,n00blet and nooblet. these are some examples of things p2p and f2p "noobs" say, can i have ur sword? can i have ur armor? can i have ur phat(rofl!)? whats that, can i have it for free? phr33 st00f pl0x, and my favorite need 1 bil!

 

 

 

yes we have all had bad times on f2p, even me. many people there are just curious about our unusal items and just want to know what they are. while some are just beggars that dont know how to make money except for begging people that come along.

 

 

 

we need the f2p, without them the economy would be messed up. remember what happened with pure ess? imagine if the f2p couldnt mine coal and iron? or cut yews? but they also rely on us, they buy our trimmed, gold, and god armor, our rune items that we have no use for and they cant get, us buying their items so they can make money.

 

 

 

we are expected to be better, stronger, smarter, and just simply nicer. as most of us that post on these things are mems. f2pers look up to us as gods(well kinda) expecting it to be great when they finally log onto a members world. what they dont expect is, "get out of here n00b, high levels only", "i dont talk to noobs like you","your more of a noob than that guy over there", ect.

 

 

 

sure there is tons of noobs in f2p, also there is alot more people, most of the worlds are f2p and most of them usually have 1.5k people on them at peak times, while p2p worlds are mostly empty. some f2pers are just following other peoples examples.

I dont view people as noobs without reason, and the reason is never because they are f2p. I also dont look down upon f2p because, some people just can't afford it, and would love members. Just because they choose not to pay, dosent mean theyre any less of a player,.

Well, you're being sort of bogus to say that level doesn't matter. Noob is respelled "newb," short for newbie, which is an inexperienced player. If you've got a low level, (unless it's a second+ character) you're probably going to be less experienced than the higher-level players.

I'd rather be friends with a lvl 20 than a 108. alot of cool people there who prob won't stay in game, as I nearly didn't. .... but someone was once very cool to me.

IMHO, I don't view f2p any different from me, apart from the content of the game itself. I'd never think of assuming someone is a noob just because they're f2p, because I myself have been a non-member for almost two years willingly, and at any time I could of upgraded to members, but I chose not to because I enjoyed f2p. Non-Members, in a way, is almost better then p2p. It's really hard to have a legitiment conversation with anyone in p2p, they're all so wrapped up in the content of the game they don't even want to just chat, even when they're training.

 

 

 

That's why I find f2p much more entertaining sometimes, don' get me wrong, I still like p2p and all, it's not not social enough :lol:

And I may not become a member for a long time, and for only a month I don't think it's worth it.

 

Tough, their are some nice members willing to make my arrows for free, as long as I supply :)

 

Another truth is, members aren't succesfull without f2p's.

 

A lot of coal is supplies from F2p's, wich members get in f2p-worlds cheaply.

 

Or most Yews are also collected in f2p.

 

As well as the normal essences, wich you could buy for 20 ea, and sell in members for 40 ea.

 

Now the Pure essences are 80-90 ea because no member bothers to get them... Their are a few, and these see it as an opportunity to get quite rich!

 

I'm just saying, a lot essential stuff comes from f2p. And a lot of money comes from p2p.

 

F2p would excist without p2p, and p2p would excist without f2p.

 

Non-members take care of the supplies, Members take care of the cash.

 

That's how a lot of rich f2p's (like me, not saying I'm that rich, but I made some money from members) got their money.

 

It's true, that as an f2p, I sometimes feel underappreciated.

 

Those 5$ a month doesn't make us poor or something.
