"Purple Haze" is ok but psycodelic music isn't my kind of thing...

It's impossible to overestimate his talent. He even managed to make a Dylan song better (All along the Watchtower), which is a feat in itself.

I'm a big Hendrix fan. I love his music. I don't think he's the most skilled guitarist, but he writes the best solos imo.

saw his national anthem with guitar in music class and it rocked.

im a big hendrix fan, i suggest everyone to listen to the band of gypsys album. its a live album and will knock your socks off and if your not wearing any they will magicly fly from your sock drawer and scatter across the floor

Just what I was thinking. I love both version of that song. To theateam11, Jimi's a really popular guy, I'm sure you can find plenty of people that like him.

I'm just now finding out how much he owns.

 

This week I've found quite a few pearls in Eletric Ladyland I'd never listened to before, but was too lazy to listen to the whole album :P

I'm a huge Hendrix fan :)

 

 

 

I've got one of his box sets of unreleased/live recordings, cost ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã60 for 4 discs but it was worth every penny.

that fat guy? he's kickass. Hendrix i don' think was as skilled as some of the guitarists that appeared after his death, but he was way better at putting solos together.
