When is range going to be usable for pking? range IS useful for pking... if u have a mage entangle + teleblock first and u use rune arrows at 99 ranged wit ranged pot :D i think the new spells are summoning... but im crazy so dont take my word for it :wink: +1 but on topic, I'm glad they are taking the time to fix those oh so pesky bugs and testing the new updates You can't ever find a place that's nice and peaceful, because there isn't any. You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write "(bleep) you" right under your nose. Try it sometime. I think, even, if I ever die, and they stick me in a cemetery, and I have a tombstone and all, it'll say "Holden Caulfield" on it, and then what year I was born and what year I died, and then right under that it'll say "(bleep) you." Poor f2pers, they never get updates, then they're promised one, and they still don't get anything :lol: :twisted: I am sure they can wait until next month, if we are all lucky, then jagax may release that brewing minigame and the new dungeon first. (well, the dungeon is useful to them because it would help to prevent hackers and scammers... trimmed bronze armor ftw!) it would be interesting if the testing is just an excuse for them taking too long to finish the coding on those two things, eh? xown4g3s Posted June 27, 2006 Share Posted June 27, 2006 here is a list of bugs fixed as found in the official forums Zanik stopped searching for goblins to talk to. - players could make the Bones to Peaches spell in a POH even if they hadn't unlocked it in the arena. - players could cast the alchemy spell on Zanik's corpse, which was rather nasty. - players could get into each others' houses in build mode. - Dorgeshuun crossbow didn't use ammo for its special attack. - bug with entering POH dungeons by following a servant. - lots of interfaces needed adjusting to allow for longer bits of text (you'll see new "X" buttons on various interfaces replacing the old "Close" buttons that were hard to see). Rather a lot of minor graphical glitches, typos, plus someone accidentally wrote the word "fire" in German in the Mountain Daughter quest... It works for me today, and has for at least a couple weeks. I've only tried it with parlours and dining rooms, perhaps it doesn't work with all rooms. I'm 99 range myself, I pk all the time I know what I'm talking about. Using entangle + teleblock isn't using range is it? Mages and meleers can BOTH beat rangers. Mages: Tangle/Barrage and stand back and use attacking spells, Mage has a longer range than range does thus you can not got hit. Meleers: Just fight a ranger, they have no melee defence and can not hit melee armour. Range is probably the least useable for hybriding, Mage + melee = Teleblock + tangle and lots of damage using melee while not taking much damage yourself. Range + melee: Why bother? Melee is superiour to range in every way, maybe bring a bow and dragonhide top to shoot mages if they tangle you and are in range, could do a small bt of damage before the tangle runs out. Range + Mage: Tangle and range them? Then get koed in 2 dragon dagger special when the tangle runs out. Face it, range is the worse out of the 3 combat styles by A LONG way, It's about 50% as effective as the other two. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Once every 10 seconds or something? Then I doubt it would do any damage. Mage's don't need to bring something else to have a longer range, they can do it with any spell... The week it came out i built 3 combat rooms on the top floor (fencing, boxing and combat) I think about 2-3 weeks ago i pulled those down and when i went to build something new it said there is no support for this room. Which really sucked... badly, I'll explain I had 3 rooms in a row (each combat) ROOM ROOM ROOM I then went and deleted the middle one first, being inside the east one. There was no and may i repeat no! acces to the third without making a support. So i go downstairs to make a support and see that none of my rooms have a door leading to that spot...So after building 3 parlours i go back upstairs and click "Build Parlour" to reach the third.... But more problems accure... "You have hit the max of 20 rooms"... AWWW [cabbage]!!! So i run downstairs and destroy some of the parlours leaving the one with support, Running upstairs and building the parlour to delete the ugly fencing room. Yay for jagex whom started the problem, And they can't fix it by destroying a room in our house or making supports. So if we have the problem before they fixed it....
