jwrm22 Posted July 8, 2006 Share Posted July 8, 2006 85 mining will i ever get it... hello, this is my story about near 85 mining! i setted a new goal about 6 months ago, yes the goal for 85 mining, for the best money making in whole runescape f2p, the holy grail for the miners under the miners! i started power mining, high in the wildy at the hobgoblin mines, there are: 4 iron rocks, annoing monsters, and every hour some pkers... i trained and trained, but it didnt go that fast, and i was bored after i got my lvl 84 mark, and mined 250 rune ores with stouts and restored my defence with defence cabbages from drayour manour, becuz defence is needed or els ill die in no time. after that i was training other things like crafting, cooking (new goal 99 cooking) and combat, after i was 92 cooking i runed out of cast and couldnt start on, thats why i relised that i realy needed 85 mining to make more money to start training cooking again, but jet again something was mutch more importend, i didnt realy remember what itt was but it wasted mutch of my valuble time. prev week i started again, and wanted to compleet the last 100k of exp in just 1 or 2 days, i started mining coal at edge, i mined about 100 coal and then, update! and it was probemly the f2p update where i long waited for, i wasted an whole day killing the newest monsters, getting my nice new boots, and no mining... i maded another goal later on, 75 attack and 80+ str, i could train that easyly in the new update after i killed about 100 ankous and rived my 1st staff part, (didnt know what it was, but it did look kewl) what i kept and trained on, i killed lots more and lota more after i had about 3 left skull halves i disided to look on the forum and look what the use is for it, they already found out that it was for the new skull sceptre, so i killed mutch more of all the other monsters, and jet i had another goal: 10+ skull sceptres, that would be easyer rune mining, 1 spot teles are realy an advandege, that would be more food or more rune ores... when i was done i started minning again (15k this time) and i found a topic about the "lowest acc with skull sceptre", and i saw the lowest jet was lvl 40, and i had in my mind that i could easyly beat it... so i created a new acc called "my sceptre" a loged-in and did the tuturial, after that i was in lumi and took the shortest way to the cows and waited for cow hides spawning, after i took 20 and some of the noob stuff accept basic mage and range, i walked to the bank... in alkarid yes, without the gate cuz i didnt had 10 gp jet, i sold my hides for 2300gp, i bought around 400 bronze arrows from it, and started small buisness, after i had about 300k i bought 6k air runes, 5k mind runes fire staff some good equipment, and bought 7k arrows from the shop again... i started killing the monsters in the new update, and every monster got his own safespot, it took me another 2 days to get all parts and i was an amazing lvl 23 with the skull sceptre, it was realy hard, it took me moor then 6k arrows to get my 3th part from the mage monsters,after that i posted the picture on tip.it, and walked around with the staff for about 2 hours... i had more then 20 lvl 40's and 50's following me and asking for: free stuff, how i did get the staff, asked for help, asked for bf, asked if i hacked runescape / cheated and calling me a noob... i was enjoing to be the lowest with the sceptre on f2p. (so far as i know, etleast from f2p tip.it) but jet again i didnt mine mutch, and to day i started over again, i mined a amazing 10k exp, then i had a replay from a tip.iter, i asked what program he used for making his sig, after he told me what program het whas and i downloaded it i took my creativity and started making a new avatar, (check my new duckies avatar) but jet again it took me mutch time and i didnt mine mutchâââ¬Ã¦ tomorrow im back and ill get that 85 mining!
