Hunting?

Its a possibility. I cant see a very good way of implementing it but who knows?

 

 

 

Edit : If the above is right, then it would make sense. But seeing how other games classify "hunters" as having pets and such, I couldn't see pets being implemented into RS.

My theory has been that it was the original original original name of slayer (just as carpentry became construction) and that it just got put there on accident.

Yes, I totally agree that the "hunter" skill became slayer through its evolvement and development. Just like carpentry became construction. Its not Pking, because Pking has been in the game since the beginning.

 

 

 

Did you know that Pking used to happen in towns? Guards were there to stop you? There was no wilderness? This was all before my time.

 

 

 

 

 

Wasn't There a Pk'ing World, and a NON-Pk'ing World? That's what I was told\heard. But anyways...That would just be scary for those people who hate pk'ing. Not saying that I do, Since I go PK'ing with My clan alot now, Dead On Arrival. :)

Before seeing Kwimbob's post, I was considering that someone just sent that in to see if it would be added. Every teacher I've had has told me that Wikipedia is user submitted information, so maybe it didn't even happen. But then again, hunting can definetly be slayer. It seems like a much more logical answer.

people at my school thought it would be funny to try to edit all the info on wikipedia. Wanna know what they did? They went to like George washington and said he was born on like april 52 20782. Then they went and wrote that the current president's name was satan and he was born on 6|6|6. All the info was changed back within minutes. They also changed a bunch of less well known things that not many people knew and it was all changed back by the next day.

I really doubt that there will ever be a skill called hunting.

Well i dunno, hunting could be a new skill.. Slayer WAS on the list aswell afterall

 

 

 

Hence Racoons added north of fally, Squirrels.. rats not being on slayer list..

 

 

 

Pigs being added in Draynor, would introduce new cooking, New pets.. taming is in hunting which could see new things eg horses maybe.. since they have new game engine

 

 

 

MORE Is capable now EG Summoning (New spell list remember)

 

 

 

this means Jagex can do things promised.. but couldnt because of limits with their old engine.. not its possible
