I've had several double item chests. And a Verac Helm/Verac Skirt combo that I didn't bother to screen. Does that mean that your drop is determined when you open the chest? Not when you kill the brother. Can you get any brothers item from any brother? Can 1 brother drop 2 items? To answer your question, no, I have not gotten a double drop in 250 trips, but I have made a sufficient amount of money there, so I am content :) .
