Joee550
Yes, seriously. Jagex only made you set recoveries before you got any kind of reward because it would make the game safer. Adamskii
What I find kind of ironic is that I was on holiday when the security update was released. The irony was that whilst I was on holiday someone hacked into my account. So I was fairly ticked off when i went through the dungeon and got told several times to set recovery questions, which for the record I had. Meh...go figure. :boohoo:
IBrunchI
that is discusting. there are people scaming in the security place?! rediculous
Smackapotato
Kinda funny, well at least it's ironic. Jagex puts out this huge update for everyone(even f2p!) and the whole message is lost because most of the players probably aren't smart enough to catch Jagex's drift... Problem is most of em are too young to actually play the game, but whatever, if they don't understand that scammers=bad and that your pass should always stay secret then so be it. EDIT - Signature far exceeds our sig limits but since it's so colourful you can keep it.
Giordano
Thats a stupid person. You leave a stupid person alone. "The cry of the poor is not always just, but if you never hear it you'll never know what justice is."
ventuzz
Well how nice, you forgot to erase the name. Also Stronghold doesn't stop them from scamming, it helps you not to fall for it. Report him and move on. Hacked 10 years old account, permamently quit if Jagex doesn't return items.
operationfl
Their biggest mistake was to let you play and then moan about it. -o-

Dexek
That is Pathetic! It is ironic that I was also keylogged just before the release of the Security Stronghold. #-o I later helped 189 people finish the stronghold and collect the pieces for the Sceptre.. that has nothing to do with the topic, but I feel I did a good thing, so I boast about it. ^_^ PoetryIndexed Picture 1Indexed Picture 2 Killed my maxed Zerker pure April 2010 Rebooting Runescape

Kilana
This post isn't meant to blame jagex... just pointing out the irony: The stronghold was made to help make accounts more secure. Someone, who likely answered several security questions to get halfway through the dungeon... is probably going to get their account stolen because they want the prize at the end of the stronghold. mikeb912
I lead a lv 14 down to there and I told him to set recovery questions and he said which menu is it under in game :wall: I told him he had to go to the Runescape main website and he said brb. He came back and said all it said was new player or existing player (the log in menu) :wall: again
Nickelliston
I'm past caring about these sorts of people. If you're stupid enough to give away your pass whilst you're being made to answer questions about why you shouldn't give away your pass then you deserve to lose your account for being so stupid. By the way, I'm not a scammer and I despise them more than the ridiculously stupid people who fall for stuff like that. Flame me if you want but that is my opinion. If he's just a little kid then he's been taught the lesson more effectively than by doing the S.O.S. godsfearme
I knew jagax would have the stronghhold fail for them. It is extremly ironic. The questions weren't that hard though. For the last level i skiped the questions and just pressed the answer that sounded the best. I will shoot down any one with my bitting wit, and sarcasm! What POSSIBLE reason would someone have to make a fake like that?Does he profit from faking a picture like that? Does it help him at all?Jesus Christ, stop being so suspicious. This is Tip.it for God's sake, not RuneHQ. -_-
