Lol, i think my brother got it from miniclip, but a few of his mates played it so i guess he could of got it from them, but his mates could of got it from miniclip or their mates could of played it aswell .. thus, i didn't figure out runescape by myself

I used to play some stupid mmorpg and I went to the site and there was a runescape banner so I clicked it. Thank god I did.

my friend told me an said its quite hard, but now hes lv 29 cb and im lv 61.

I found it when i was serching on google for runes. I did serched for runes beacuse i got a home work about vikings, and I needed to find out some more things of their languge.

 

well, then i found an article about some guy selling runes ( I became What!??, beacuse they're so old that how did you get and where and why do you sell it when it should be on a musiem? ), so i clicked the link. The aticle was here of someone selling runes. I looked at some diffrent posts, but first i became member, so i could look at them, and soon figured out that all this was about some game named Runescape.

 

I searched that on google, and i found the site, runescape.com, and started playing.

I heard about it from a friend "i a z o" and "uralllame3". (yeah real life friends if it doesn't sound as if i went on runescape added them then they told me about it).

I started before the age counter was set up. I was (some age) and at a party. I saw this kid log on and i'm all " whats that game?" and he's all " shut up im mining essence (good times....)" he goes to bank his ess and lots of people are there, i think all of them are npc cuz i was a little brat and up to then I never played an online multiplayer game. I looked fun and I had nothing better to do so I searched runescape ( after I asked about 20 times what the game was called the kid told me) on yahoo ( I thought google was cheap at that time lol) and found the game. My first account teleko0 ( hacked, lost, forgtten) was made, the kid saw me playing, added me to his friends list and bombarded me with

I was looking on the net for an adventure game, and runescape was the first one (although I thought I would have to play like all the others). Turned out I didnt :)

I found out about RS while surfing Sun Micro System's Website for Open Office. Go Figure, Jagex is affiliated with them :) It was an advertisement... way back in 2004 (April-ish)

My brother's friend who was also friends with me.

My friends told me about it, I think in the 6th grade, back in the good ole' classic days. I mean these guys were flatout bad ***, and still are, but they don't play anymore. Wish they'd give me their stuff lol.

When I was younger I used to love Dragonball Z #-o . Not I die-hard fan... but I did watch it everyday on Toonami (years back when it came on @ 5:00).

 

 

 

ANYWAYS! I also liked to do the little DBZ RPG things. Texted based ones. I thought they were quite fun myself, and they also seemed to pass the time if people were into it. A guy on there named Kakuri told me through AIM one day about this new game he found called RuneScape. He gave me the link and I made an account (Zibl). He was only level 8 combat when I joined, so we were both fairly new. His RS name was Kakuri_SSJ.

 

 

 

I won't go into too much detail, but he basicly stopped playing for a bit because he said it took up too much time that he didn't want to spend on the internet. A few months later, the GM of the dbz rpg we were both on told us about how we were in the last saga of the game and that he was going to stop it. After the RPG closed up, I never saw or heard from him again (because the AIM name he used to get on was purely for his RPG buds).

 

 

 

Sucks. He was taken off my friends list a couple weeks after the RPG closed because he neve got back on so I figured it was a waste. It's been almost 4 years since the last time we spoke and I doubt I ever see him again. But it'd be cool to show him RuneScape (and my account) today.

I'm an RS2 product from Miniclip :

Playing Motocross games on Miniclip.. I see that Runescape is the number 1, I click it, love it and have been playing 8 happy months thus far. It is not to often you find a game that you have fun at, has a large community, is free, and you can be very successful at. :)

Some guys next to me in computer class were playing it. I thought It looked awesome so I tried it out. I was hooked instantly.
