I decided to call this the Jungle Survival Minigame

I have to admit this is the thread that's captured most of my attention. It's an incredible idea and would work brilliantly.

 

 

 

Just a few suggestions:

 

 

 

It could possibly be set in the Khazari Jungle so it's further away from civilization.

 

 

 

It might work well as a single player game, where you face a day in the jungle on a much accelerated time scale. For instance u have 10 mins to make ur camp, 10 mins to make arrows or traps and catch food. Its just an idea.

 

 

 

Instead of having specific spots for every item you need like herbs, you have to search the area, looking in trees and under rocks etc. And instead of specific hunting grounds there could be wild boars etc. that attack your camp which you have to defend against.

 

 

 

I really like ur idea, keep up the gd work.

If it moves... own it!

could it be somewhere else? u have to do legends to get in khazari jungle

 

Hmm,.. i really suggest that u make the minigame portal in shilo village (cmon ch00bs, shilo quest is easy!!) and the actual place where u play the game is in an area outside the map (just like pest control...)

 

anyway these are just my ideas mmk... :D

You've made nice progress in reshaping and refining the idea. The only thing that comes to me immediately is that the way to get to the minigame would need to be fairly easy. That's part of what makes PC and Cws so popular is that you can get to them with little effort. Perhaps an added tele option to the games necklace.

Add me, but i think that there should be a stockpile where the food and items for the tribe are stored, and that is a way to get a high percentage. Then there should also be raids on the other team to steal resources, by using thieving? And any unit raiding can use some sort of concealment to hide from the other team and then steal and run?

UPDATE:

 

 

 

You can use the cut grass in the jungle area ( where you get herbs ) to cover yourself and camoflauge and then sneak into the enemy base and steal resources, if you are discovered, the enemy will put you in a bamboo cage, where you use thieving to get out, same goes for the enemy.

if i might make my ownlittle bit of constructive criticism i'd like to point out a few minor things:

 

 

 

bad

 

+you didnt state wether or not exp would be gained uring the game or just afterwards

 

+1k exp isnt very much as a reward

 

+i think the map should be made bigger with corner bases like c wars and possibly without the river as it would end up a tiny battle ground expecially at the crossing points

 

+force people to use all four corners, unlike c wars

 

+it may cause exp availability unbalance

+it would be an excellent skill trainer, though possibly too good.

 

+its a great idea

 

 

 

additions

 

+thick jungle as an obstacle to cut paths through

 

+possibly no icons on mini map to show comoflaged enemy, though they are visible as soon as they are near enough to your village to be a threat

 

+exp is available through what you do eg wood cut, mine, smith etc, but as it is low level (bronze or even stone) low exp is given so as not to unbalance exp availability

 

+it maybe good to have the possibilities for teams to appoint an official leader or organise whos doing what unlike cwars, where evry one shouts crazy things etc. though again this may be a stupid idea, as some people dont listen...

 

 

 

pointers

 

+make sure even level 3's can find something useful to do otherwise it limits your potential audience

 

+making it too complicated reduces its appeal to jagex, give them enough ideas but let them build on it other wise they will not feel they have any real connection too it

 

+try to send it to jagex by snail-mail if you can possibly find out how, they will take more notice as it shows more dedication to task and it stops them thinking its just another stupid forum post evryone got excited about

I think the monester dont drop anything ,but have a certin chance of dropping a jungle coin. The team that get te most coins win. The tougher the monester the higher the chance. Oh, and I think that you would keep the coins in a case by your teams altar. The opposing team could raid the altar for coins, but then it would turn out like cwars, so never mind.
