July 26, 200619 yr Hey all, well firstly i'd been doing barrows for a while now but i never seem to get anything, then i read up about other people and they always get stuff. I must be doing something wrong. Whenever i go there i only do it once cos i dont have enough runes or p pots. I always kill all 6 brothers and around 5-15 monsters. I'd also like to know anyones theory on the best kill count or the one most people got better items on. All advice appreciated.

July 26, 200619 yr Kill count only affects the amout of runes you get from the chest, it has no effect on the chance of a barrows piece. For barrows i get 7 Killcount, kill all brothers then one monster and i've gotten 26 items now.But thats just my advice.Hope it helps.

July 26, 200619 yr also make sure the brother you get in the tunnel is your last kill before opening the chest, once you kill him don't kill anything else and then open the chest
July 26, 200619 yr Well, it seems you're just un-lucky. I usually only get an item 1/20 trips. Which isn't lucky. But it's not un-lucky either. Kill Count does not affect the chances of getting barrows items, it only affects the runes you get. Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-I took the one less traveled by,And that has made all the difference.
July 26, 200619 yr be carefull on dharok, i killed him and his body disapeared, then i turned off prayer and got hit for a 51 killing me...i would have lived if i had eaten a lobster like i was going to :oops: 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving. Jagex'd out of my untrimmed hp cape on 6/14/2011.
July 26, 200619 yr Kill count helps on the runes. If you are willing to lose money on runes (rather than make money from them), then is optimum for speed. July 26, 200619 yr I get 11 and that's enough imo, I make a decent profit from the runes and I leave with 150% of the slayer dart runes I took with me. I also got a Torags plate on my fourteenth run \ . Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.
