gordwiser Posted August 9, 2006 Share Posted August 9, 2006 my first ever slayer assignment was for these monsters that can poison you. i knew they could poison me, i was told they could poison me, and i thought i was prepped for this. i took 2 antipoisons and went to the slayer caves to try my luck at killing them. i was wearing full rune, power ammy, and had a rune scimmy. i tell you, i was fresh off the boat from f2p when i did this, so i thought that nothing could touch me and that my two antipoisons would protect me. well i got to the slayer caves and began fighting. i got poisoned almost immediately. no biggy, i drink a dose of antipoison. it would protect me for like 30 seconds and then id get poisoned again. lather, rinse, repeat. so im there for a good 15 minutes killing these things, and i go to fight another one when i realize that ive run out of antipoison. thinking of what could happen, i turn around and go to leave. the monster i had been attacking hits me one last time before i exit and as i emerge from the cave, my worst nightmare was realized. i was poisoned without any antipoison. i began running as fast as i could over to keldagrim. i knew i had to get to the bank and the feeling of panick was beginning to set in. about halfway into the city of keldagrim, i run out of run energy! :ohnoes: now my health is down to about 20-ish. and im walking across the bridge toward the bank. once the bank is in sight i feel relieved but still and very scared. i dont wanna lose my rune. i get to the booth with 1 health left. im about ready to wet myself at how fortunate i am that i get ot bank all my stuff before i die. i open the window and to my absolute shear horror, none of my armor is in my inventory! i left it all on me when i walked into the bank! :ohnoes::ohnoes: i furiously begin clicking to get all my armor and junk off and before i can right click the bank booth, i lose the last bit of health and die! i lost my rune full helm, my rune scimmy, my blue cape, my gloves and boots, my power ammy, and my pride. :boohoo: hey its not that bad ive done it to Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Erk02 Posted August 9, 2006 Share Posted August 9, 2006 While doing the Holy Grail quest, I was fighting the Black Knight Titan. MY computer decides to lag, I have 32 hp left. I'm like. "Meh, no problem" When I see "You need something else to defeat the black knight titan" (it was nearly dead) And then I see 15! 15! 2! all stacked because I lag. All in all, I lost a full inventory of food :oops: , dds, zerker helm,glory, and rune kite. I do English to Japanese and Japanese to English translation for free! As usual, a Sea Troll would pop up saying 'Fishies be mine, leave dem fishies'. I thought good, another autoer dead, I watched and watched as there health got lower and lower. speedofsound Posted November 25, 2006 Share Posted November 25, 2006 I was just walking away from another fruitless session of pking, as soon as i reached level 1 wilderness 3 pures swooped down on me, I was about 2 squares away from leaving when i was snared by one of them, the other one ice barraged me and the last one ranged me, not to mention I was teleblocked as well. So I ended up dieing, 2 squares away from being safe. Pretty Pathetic huh? You can't ever find a place that's nice and peaceful, because there isn't any. You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write "(bleep) you" right under your nose. Try it sometime. I think, even, if I ever die, and they stick me in a cemetery, and I have a tombstone and all, it'll say "Holden Caulfield" on it, and then what year I was born and what year I died, and then right under that it'll say "(bleep) you." About half way there, I suddenly see, literally, fifty white dots come in out of no where. I get hit with about thirty binds and ice barrages. I was dead in less than a second. Got owned..and died. flamingchen Posted November 25, 2006 Share Posted November 25, 2006 i've died twice: once as a pathetic n00b (trying to get zammy wines) and once losing my spankin new full rune to a 3 pack of mage pures. close calls: PKing: i am pking against another rune pure and i accidentally click "back" i'm back 60 seconds later w/ only 5 hp left. i immediately start eating and eating and when i have 29 hp (2 lobbies) he nails me w/ a 2h and i'm back to 10 so i just start eating again. eventually i ran outta food, ran outta prayer, so i teled. he was out food too but had protect from melee... same as last time except this time it was connection lost. my dsl is being a funky. like last time, i SURVIVE!!! i'm killin lessers and am reading an article on another page :) and when i look back at screen, i realize the lesser hit 2 8s on me and i have 4 hp left (i didn't heal from previously 3) so i eat a lobby and the next hit was exactly 4... yep, i found them quite interesting and had so much relief getting away.
