The thing I pmed ForsakenMage about, was a custom rank as the first prize, but the mods/admins did not agree, sorry guys :( Ill do my best to get some cash for the first and second prizes together. Stock Images are now not allowed, as vladmoney said, it would be unfair if someone found a great stock photo, and won the tournament. I have to set the player limit to 10 I think, bt Id have to reform the groups, Im thinking of changing the rounds to: 5 1 to 1 battles, and every winner goes on to the next round. Those 5 contestants will be one group, and the first 2 go on to the final, then they battle eachother, and whoever wins, wins.. About the 5 judges, good idea, I will pm 5 or 4 people who I think are suited to judge here, and dont enter the tournament, to ask if they want to join. Lets see, did I miss anything? Oh, adding the names now.. *edit* Oh yeah, the tournament dates. Well, I guess every round will be given 2 days, is that somewhat okay? Except the second round, which would actually take 5 days, because there will be 5 battles. I know, 5 days after eachother might be a bit hard to keep making great sigs, but you will have to try... The final would take 1 day as well. This means it would take a total of 8 days. It would total 6 signatures made by each person. Now, we have to find a good date for this.. Ryan is out of town untill the 29th. If we would start the 30th, which will then be the first day of the tournament, and the tournament takes 8 days, we would end the 7th. Which means if Keiphus would be in the final, he would miss it. So, we cant use that date. We cant start any earlier, because of ryan going out. So, lets say, the 13th? 13+8=21, the 21st of july would be the final. Is everyone ok with that date? Im gonna adjust the round system now. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

So, Id have to either find 5 people to do it, or dont enter the contest at all... Hmm...lemme think...Ok ill go find 5 people :P Vlad, Yes, Ill see if I can find some more sigmakers...But, it isnt really needed, because if the 13th is the start, then everyone could join, with the exception of perhaps Eccentric, because he didnt give a specific date he was leaving, But I hope he could join. If he cant, Id have to find someone else, which wont be a problem I think.. But yeah, any suggestions for the JudgePanel? Right now, its the 24th, in 24 days it will be the 18th... Which will be during the tournament.. :shock: I cant do it after you get back, because It could well take a month, as you said. Then, find other dates when other people will be here, and run the contest on those dates. Eventually we can get everything running smoothly. This would work best, and it would help space things out. This way everything isn't happening at once. Make a list of when everyone will be gone. I'm going to DC from the 6th to the 12th. I'm free any time besides that. Is anyone else free during the times that I am? If at least 4 people are, then we can have our group of 5 right there. It would be cool to have some judges who are graphically inclined, and then others who aren't.... GreatSilverWyrm Forsaken Mage Exarch Demented Hero Etc... That might work better than just some average Joe who comes in and says, "WOw ThaT lo0ks Uber LeEt!!" Oh, and dont forget Im in this one too, So I can be in the first round too.. Im not active as judge, as ForsakenMage, Greatsilverwyrm, Exarch, The Sith and RoyalFlush are the judges. Keiphus, What would your idea for the planning of the rounds be then? Cause the round system would get a bit different I think.. Would we do 3 1 to 1 battles as the first round, where you, Nads, Eccentric , Vlad, Demoris and me battle? Or will we do a group stage? With all us 6 in there..? Or 2 groups of 3? Keiphus Posted June 25, 2004 Share Posted June 25, 2004 Well Eccentric already said she didn't want any part in this, so I guess we can kick her out of the first round, I haven't seen her post changing her mind. I just threw her in as a "what-if" Then we can just do Nad, Vlad, Demented, and Keiphus as a 4 man front in round 1. Some other people signed up, so you should have about 12 people. That will leave 2 more 4 man contests. The winners of these contests will go to a 3 man contest. Then you could have like 3 rounds of that or something. Whoever wins the most wins, and if it's a 3 way tie, you can have 1 tie breaker. Hope you people are thinking about themes. Demented, if you are going to be the one coming up with the themes, I strongly suggest you don't participate. However, if you want to, I'd say let somebody like Wyrm come up with the themes.
