August 10, 200619 yr Okay, I've been wondering, what's the lowest level to get a rune plate? So I'm starting to train my pure for this. She will have: 35 Attack 30 strength 40 defense This should leave me at around 40 combat. Should I be able to do it? What's your guys opinion?

August 10, 200619 yr NO, you cant do it. the dragon will own you unless you get a rune weapon, lvl 45 is optimum. Unless, you mage it, but then its dragon fire, so you aren't much better off. I say get a higher strength, so you hit more damage, maybe 35, 40, 40? Anyway, if you want to try it, go right ahead. August 10, 200619 yr well, i was able to kill elvarg with my ranger while he had 40 ranged 30 def and 37 hp. which would be..... 36 combat, but then again im not mewmber so maybe the annon would work better

August 11, 200619 yr Just have enough prayer for proctect form mage and it is extremly easy. Most people (the ones that don't kill dragons that often) don't know this so I will add it: The firebreath is a mage attack, so as godsfearme said the mage protect will be perfect.
