Hi...recently i have seen pretty high level players using a zammy book while pking in the wild. Keep in mind the zammy book when completed costs around 750k-1m depending on the price of the pages you bought.

 

When all it takes is 65 atk and 65 strength to enter the warriors guild. Even if you don't want to wait until you get rune a mithril defender has better stats than a zammy book and is absolutely free.While rune is almost 3x better and only 2 away from mithril

it gives a magic bonus and a range one too \

when you die with zammy book you dont really lose it, you can retrieve from lighthouse where as rune defender takes times to get back.

prayer bonus is essential in some situations, and the fact you can get it again for free. though i have 4 rune defs and a book, i dont bother \

Zammy book gives a prayer bonus which can make protection prayers last longer. :D :D :anxious:

Those high levels are there probably to dig up a lvl 3 clue scroll.

 

So they avoid to have something of value for pkers, here is my outfit:

 

family crest gloves, boots of lightness, legends cape, zammy book and a dds.

 

The zammy book increases attack for all weapons with 8 and gives 5 prayer bonus.

 

This is already overpowered for zammy mage, but you almost lose nothing when being pked. The dds you will keep and everything else is untradeable, so the pkers gets nothing.

Yup, you keep all the pages you had ^.^

zammy is comparitive to a mith defender for atk bonuses, but no prayer bonus for the defender

 

 

 

also, some people spend only like 100k on the whole book, i did

Most higher levels hybrid with mage, so they wear a zamorak book for the +8 mage since split top + mystic bottom gives a pretty pathetic bonus (only about 50, where dragonhides mage defence is about 80.)
