In the fishing animations you are "wielding" the equipment. This doesn't nessecarily mean that you can equip it. I never remember jagex promising fishing equipment euipable anyway. just the pickaxes. Besides a lobster pot would be a lousy weapon.

August 21, 200619 yr harpoon: acurate- stab aggresive- stab controlled- stab defensive- stab lobster pot: acurate- crush aggresive- crush controlled- crush defensive- crush fly fishing rod: acurate- wave around aggresive- wave around and yell controlled- meditate with rod held like sword defensive- stay in one place and hold rod tightly small net: acurate- toss net aggresive- swing net controlled- flick net defensive- cover yourself with net ...and so on... fishing tools as weapons...no way! ( maybe just the harpoon and lobster pot... )
August 21, 200619 yr maybe fishing tools could be made wieldable for april fools day a harpoon you can poke people up the butt (no hp dealt) lobster pot (hit people on the head, you break lobster pot, broken lobster pot not tradable) fishing rod, catch peoples trousers, and click "reel in" and you bring the other person through the air to you! =p sound good? :?: :thumbsup:
