the reason for this is because runescape is easy to work and start an account just type in user name and password and thats it really if thee was any other games like this i would play them but they all take sownloading

W.o.W is ahead of RuneScape...Figures...

 

All of my friend's play W.o.W and think RuneScape is a bad game with horrible graphics #-o

Paaahlliiiz, do not compare RS with WoW, cause it's pretty different - Runescape has no advertisement whatsoever, all new players come by word of mouth. Game magazines ignore Runescape cause it isn't commerce haven (and game magz love commercial games that pay $$$ for advertisement and even for being mentioned). Basically, Runescape is one of the last "By gamers - for gamers" things, and still, in this totally unfriendly real-life environment where suits measure everything in money and only money - Runescape still manages to be competitive...

 

Got to think of it - RS has no shaders or mega-graphix, but it still rocks and rolls as one of the world's most popular entertainment...

ALL of my friends have moved from rs to WoW. My friends list only has 3 people on it. :oops:

Someone needs to learn basic math.

 

 

 

WoW has 50.6% of the world's MMORPG players. It has ~7million players, so there are about ~14million players in total playing MMORPGs. I put the "playing" in bold, because there are probably a lot of MMORPG players out there that aren't subscribed to an MMORPG atm.

 

 

 

But the site also doesn't take into account ALL the MMORPGs, as there are many foreign MMORPGs and small MMORPGs that he didn't count. So, I predict there are at least 20 million players playing MMORPGs.

Yeah, but he probably spent like three days of that week just travelling; I've seen friends playing WoW, and it can take up to twenty minutes just to get somewhere...longer if you walk. It suddenly made me less annoyed that it takes only five minutes to walk across the f2p world. He probably napped and took potty breaks during transit.
